It Was A Fantastic Evening Out!

December 3, 2017

Good morning.  The sun is shining, but the temps are only in the mid thirties.  Brrrr!  I think Pogo and I will stay indoors today.  So far, it's been a busy weekend.  Joe put up the heavy duty plastic over the front porch screens yesterday.  We just have to put some plastic over the screen door to the porch and it will be all closed up for the Winter.

I worked a bit on the green afghan, and now it is finished.  I'll have to take a photo of it later today.  I'm still not sure which colors to work with next, but I'll decide on that later today too.

Friday night and early Saturday morning, Joe was busy raking up leaves and bundling them into the leaf bags.  He must have put out close to fifty bags of leaves before the collection truck got here and took all the leaves away.  Today, Joe is bagging sticks and branches from around the yard.

I did a bit more wrapping.  Here's one of my little air freshener dollies just before she was wrapped and put into a box for mailing.  The yarn is called Rose Garden.

Dwarf Helen offered to sew the buttons on to the nappy covers for me.  Thank you Helen.  I really do appreciate that.  My fingers don't like working with tiny needles.  Here are the nappy covers just before I wrapped them.

Last evening, Deanne picked me up and we went to Paris Cabaret to watch Jazzy and the other Starliners in the Christmas/Awesome Eighties program.  We were joined by another DIL of mine, Linda, and her mother and a friend.  Here we all are after the performance.

We had a grand time.  Even though a couple of the performers (including Jazzy) were coping with colds and sore throats, they all did a fabulous job.  I put a few videos on Facebook.  You can look them up.  Don't forget, I'm Franny Loud on Facebook.  We all decided that maybe we'll set aside one night a month and all go together to the Cabaret to watch a show.  Awesome!

Well, that's all my news for this morning.  A friend of mine might be dropping by this morning, and I have a few blogs that I'd like to read before she gets here.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi,
I am so very glad that you had a great time out and lovely photo of you all. I love the doll, she is gorgeous, but then again all of the ones you have made are just beautiful.
I am sorry I missed your call last night. I came home from an afternoon and early dinner with Jonathan with the intention of reading and fell right to sleep and never heard the phone...
Have an awesome day and I will talk with you a bit later on. Hugs to you and Pogo... xoxoxo Beth and Cisco...
