Good morning. Goodness, I have been so busy for the past couple hours and it isn't even eight o'clock yet. Pogo and I got up early, so I decided to get the last of my wrapping done. Everything going out of the house is wrapped and ready to go. I just have to help Santa out a bit and wrap the things that he left here for the dwarfs. Woo Hoo!
Well, yesterday was a very busy day. First, my car would not start. I needed to go shopping for things for the house, but the car was not budging. So, dwarf Mike drove me to the store while Joe followed in his truck so that he could load everything into his truck.
Shopping was very fruitful. I managed to buy a brand new mattress, bureau and rug for the spare room and I got a super price! When we got home, Joe cleaned the room, and then he went to the store to buy paint so that he could give the room a new coat of paint. Today, I will pick up new curtains and the room will be done.
Once we were home, I called to have a service person come out to get my car started. I meant to go out last night and run it again for a while but I fell asleep. Here's hoping it starts for me this morning because in little while I have an appointment with my orthopedic doctor for a check up on my shoulder. On my way home, I'll stop by the store to pick up the curtains. I already did my food shopping yesterday afternoon, so the cupboard is full.
*****I just went out and started my car. Woo Hoo! She started right up, so I'm letting it run for a few minutes and then I'll go back out and shut it off. By the way, this is a brand new battery that I bought earlier this year. When the service guy got here yesterday, he looked at the battery and said that I had the best kind. So that tells you that it has been c-c-c-c-cold here.
Daughter Deanne sent me a cute photo of three of my great grandchildren enjoying their new "poopie" tee shirts. They had been wanting them, so Deanne got them and sent them to them. Here is Lilah, Jack and Alima showing off their new "poopie" tee shirts. They have an awesome auntie, don't they?
I also have another cute photo to share with you. I took this photo while we were at the Post Office one day mailing out a ton of packages. Joe carried all the bundles in, and then he held Pogo while I was busy with the postal clerk.
Something must have moved out in the yard because Pogo just went charging to the storm door, barking all the way. I don't see anything out there, but maybe a squirrel or a little bird was out there. Whatever it was, Pogo certainly chased it away.
Today I have another Christmas quick page for you. This one shows that even the tiniest of God's creatures believes in Santa Claus and is hoping for a special gift. Have fun with it.

Now I think I'll have another cup of coffee and wrap a few of those "Santa" things before it's time to get ready to leave for my appointment. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.
