Good morning. It's another simply gorgeous day here in Florida, and, I've been up since just before the sun came up. Right now, Audrey is in the kitchen cooking us breakfast. Afterwards, us girls are going to visit another flea market, and maybe swing by Walmart to pick up some yarn. Joe says he is going to be spending the day at the pool.
Speaking of Joe, yesterday at the flea market he made a new friend. He just could not resist this pretty young lady.
Here's a better look at his pretty new friend. I have to admit that she really is quite pretty. (Except for that one really puffy kneecap. It looks like she put the wrong leg on when she was getting dressed) Needless to say, we were all having a lot of fun at this flea market.
It's amazing, but I have not picked up my crochet hook since I've been here. I think though that later today I'll start on a project. We'll see. It's going to be in the mid eighties again, and after trucking around in the sun all morning, I may just want to take a nap instead.
Uploading photos from the phone to the laptop and up to the blog post is such a slow process here. I guess the internet connection is not very strong, but it beats driving to McDonalds to get a free hour of internet.
Pogo has been confused since we got here about whether or not to use his potty papers. So we have to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't try decorating the rug. He has been quite gassy since we left home, and has been very generous about sharing his special aroma with everyone. It has made for some interesting moments.
Well, it's early so there's not much news yet for today. I'll take my leave here and hopefully take some fun photos to share. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

I am so glad you went out to the Flea Market ... last year you spent most of your time at the house. It is wonderful to get out and about in Florida, especially after all the snow you have had to survive this winter ... sadly it will probably still be there when you get back.
Beautiful Red Shouldered Hawk, Edna and a great picture you took. You will probably see more of him while you are there since they do stay in their territory. Thank you for thinking of me ... it was a perfect gift.
That is the biggest smile I have seen on Joe's face. I know he is loving this ... and with all of his new friends, how can he go wrong ... she's a beauty though a little stiff :)
We had snow here again this morning and now it is raining ice (sleet). Stop chuckling under your breath, Edna ... we can't all make it to Florida :) It is supposed to turn to rain and get up into the high 30's. I am not going out until later (daughter has PT)so hopefully the roads will be okay by then. An ambulance went by this morning at 10 miles an hour ... you know how bad the roads are when that happens :(
Well, I am not going to rain on your parade. You just lay back and soak up some of the sunshine ... good source of Vitamin D which we all need and probably don't get enough of in the winter. You should check out the Flea Market for your yarn or go someplace new ... Don't you usually get your yarn at Walmart at home? Anyway, glad you are having such a great time and Pogo will figure things out soon enough. Let him go outside to do his business ... that works :) Enjoy, Edna ... and go to the pool with Joe and dabble your toes in the water. And look for birds ... they have a lot of different birds for your camera. I will be waiting to see what you come up with. Be well ...

Oh Edna, I am tickled for you. Sounds like you are all having a wonderful time. It is so cold and dreary here. I wish I were enjoyign the sunshine. You have the honor of being in the only state in the union that doe snot have snow! Yipeeee! Keep enjoying your trip. It sounds like Pogo needs a another day or two to get adjusted to his new surroundings. SOunds like Joe is a character with a new friend although she appears to be just a tad bit stiff. HaHaHa! Enjoy the sunshine and perhaps you may send a bit to me! Hugs, Anne
I'm behind on things, but catching up now since the water problem got fixed quicker this year. Now that all the dishes are done and some of the water refugee bags are put away I get a few reading minutes!
Glad you're all in Florida and safe. There is another nasty storm dumping that 4-letter s-word up the coast! David and I are waiting making hotel reservations for our niece's high school graduation in Connecticut until we're sure they won't move the graduation date to make room for make-up school days. It's just crazy!
Joe's new lady friend is beautiful just the way she is! Sometimes I put a wrong ankle on and one looks swollen; doesn't affect my beauty! hehe
I'm glad the girls got there safely and Pogo is enjoying "naked time!"
Be relaxed and as wonderful as usual and ENJOY the warm, snow-free days! Maybe you can send a little of that warm north? :)
Hugs, Nani
So good to read you already are having a splendid time in Florida.
You are right to go out as much as possible, and one way to do so is visiting the fleamarket, which always gives nice surprises, like Joe meeting his girlfriend LOL!
Give it a day or two and i think Pogo will be completely settled and will stop spreading his "odeurs"hahaha.
am sure you girls are doing great and having a lot of fun. And I think Joe and the pool will be almost inseparatable the coming time.
Hugs

The flea markets in Florida are such fun. Do you always go to the same place each March? If so, maybe we can connect with you next year when we're on the east coast again.
