Well good morning! Yup, it's raining. Let's face it. We now have a new season to make up for the lack of a Spring and Fall. This new one is called the Monsoon Season. Most of these rainy days are cloudy and wet in the morning and night, and simply gorgeous during the rest of the day. No complaints from me.
In other parts of the country it is so hot that it is unbearable. (117 F degrees) On top of that, we have just lost nineteen firefighters who were fighting the Arizona fires. A very sad day for all of us. The weather has simply gone crazy, and I think that we can blame ourselves for that. Greed, carelessness and lack of concern for the health of our earth is now coming back at us as climate changes.
Let me introduce you to my newest great granddaughter, Teagan, who was born last Saturday. Isn't she a beauty? (The count is now up to eight great grandbabies.)
I also have some gorgeous new layouts to share that my good friend Kyra has made for me. Here's the one that she made of Audrey and Pogo. The photo was taken this past winter in Florida. I am just loving my new layouts, and will save the newest ones for tomorrow's post.

Eight Great Grandchildren ... you certainly have a prolific family. How wonderful for you and what a beauty. Oh my, you much be bursting with pride. And, your Grandson and SIl ... very handsome ... wonderful of Kyra to make all of the fabulous layouts for you.
I am trying to recover from a very busy, but wonderful weekend. I am exhausted, but it was worth it. Izzi is a good travelin' dog. I wasn't sure how she was going to take to driving six hours in a car since she has never done it before ... she slept! She was full of life when we got there and loved her Motel room. Headed right for the big bed. We had a lot of fun with good human and dog friends ... Izzi loves her agility. Have much to do around here before I can get back into full swing with the blogging. Hope your weather settles down ... we are having a beautiful day here ... mid 70's and sunshine. Rare ... oh so rare, but loving it while it lasts. We’ve had some of monsoon season hit and miss. It was WET with tons of mosquitoes at my dad’s place yesterday!

I like Pogo all trimmed and handsome! The better for seeing the big dogs when he barks at them, right?
We could watch the crime shows together and I totally agree about some of the junk out there. That’s why I pretty much watch baseball and old movies. lol
The one great thing about catching up is I get to see a week+ of your photos like a big ole album while I catch up! We got in from Pop’s about a half hour after midnight and I turned my calendar page as I passed it. It is the most on-time I turned the page since January (when David flipped it for me after he came home from the hospital without me!)
I’ve pretty much “recovered” from traveling now and I’ll likely be back to bogging regularly (for me) tomorrow.

Today should be a good day here, it might be true LOL, it is sunny outside and just a little breeze.
Could be a day to do some painting. Jan started yesterday. Every day a little part should do the job. But lots of it stillto do.
