Good morning. Well, we got a lot of rain on and off yesterday, and today the sun is shining gloriously. Outside my window, the birds are chirping and the feeder has been busy all morning. All is good right now.
Between the heat and the rain, nature has helped to make my iris bulbs to grow and blossom. This is the first year that they will bloom. I went outside yesterday when the rain took a ten minute break, and got some photos of this gorgeous purple beauty. Are these not fabulous?
Joe had to get some stakes and tie these plants up because they are so tall, and were falling over. They stand close to four feet tall. Imagine!! No wonder they took so long to grow and bloom. I just went outside to get a full shot of this beauty to show you how tall it is. The fence behind it is six feet tall.
I can't chat very long this morning. Eddie is outside in the yard, and Pogo is going crazy running back and forth between me and the door. I think he's trying to tell me that he wants to go outside. lol. Eddie is putting down some grass seed, I think. The lawns are really looking good this year.
So now I think I'll get dressed and take my little guy outside for a while. Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Edna B.

What a beautiful rich purple color. I love the dew drops on the flower, it adds a lot to the image.

Your irisses are awesome and so beautiful!
Pogo has sometimes a busy life, all the choosing between staying with you and going outside, where there are adventures waiting for him LOL.
