Good morning. It's really nice out right now, but it's supposed to get pretty warm as the day goes on. Ah well, it's certainly better than being flooded with too much rain. This will have to be a short post because I'm at work and the Mrs will be waking soon.
My babysitter did not wake up on time this morning, so I have Pogo here with me. Let's just hope the Mrs doesn't get too upset about it. I don't understand her, she lets everyone else bring their dog into the house, but she does not like me to bring my dog into the house. Go figure!
Yesterday, Pogo and I shopped at Petco for a couple of new shirts (for him), and then we went to the park for a while. Here's a view of one small area of the park. Isn't this gorgeous?
There are quite a few young ducks this year, and they are such a delight to watch. Here's one batch of them, playing and chasing for food that bystanders throw into the water.
Did anyone see the item on yesterdays TV news about the baby who was given a new type of hearing implant, and he heard his first sound? It was his Daddy's voice. Oh my, what a beautiful story! The look on this little guys' face when his father spoke was incredibly priceless. We need more stories like this in the news.
Now I really must be getting busy here. The Mrs will be calling for her breakfast soon. So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a spectacular day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Happy FRIDAY! Just a couple minutes left before I head out to finish up errands for my boss. Lovely photos of the ducks and the park. Gorgeous! The ones from yesterday are wonderful too. Happy Belated Birthday to Gary, JR.
Yes, that video of the child first hearing was so awesome, brought tears! How can anyone be upset with POGO? Surely she likes dogs! O well, he has his Mum to protect him anyway!
I just put out some more climbing toys for the kittens, they are so fun to watch at this age!
Oh well, guess I had better get finished. Have a great weekend and check with you later...thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Mat
What a shocker- good news on TV! That story sounds sweet and I agree, I'd like to hear more of this kind of thing. We noticed that the channel we usually watch for the news ends with some kind of happy note and I like that a lot.
Let's be happy when we hear or see a wonderful story, like the one of the baby. And happy, that there are still researchers who find cures and such to beat terrible diseases. Sometimes, humans can do great things.
Funny, that the Mrs,. won't allow you to have Pogo with you. You should find out at some time why she is so hard for you in this!
Have a great day, and we look forward to pictures of Pogo wearting his new shirts.
Hug
Kyra
