Good morning. It's cloudy and damp, with more rain on the way for today and tomorrow. The temperature is about 68F, and we are having a flood alert. I just hope that is all it is. An alert. I'm just getting a bit tired of all the wet weather.
I have an update on my phone calls yesterday with the cable company. When my phone calls were finished, and I finished posting here on the blog, I decided to catch up on some of my email. Oh no! Oh no! What happened to my email?
When I clicked on my email, it just kept trying to open and finally a message would pop up saying that it could not open because there was a problem with my server and my password. I swear, I must have been going through a "Murphy's Law" day. Everything that could was going to go wrong.
After trying to figure things out on my own, I finally realized that the cable company must have changed the wrong password on my internet account. So, back to the phone I went. I was good though, and did not rip any of my hair out. I've learned that bald does not make wrong things go right.
After talking with the cable representative, she agreed that indeed they changed the wrong password on my account. She apologized said that she would fix it. She did, and I ended up with a new password. When I tried my mail again, it all came tumbling in.
This morning I will finally get some of my errands done because I have an appointment at the nail salon in a couple of hours. While I'm out, I will get a few things done. Later today, I will take Joe food shopping.
I have a fun photo to share. The other day, I was looking at my window, and thought that it looked rather interesting with the plant showing through the curtain. So, of course, I took a photo.
I also took a photo of a blossom on one of my rhododendron plants before the rain could knock all the petals off.
There are no blossoms on the other rhodie plant yet. Maybe soon. I would love to find an orange rhododendron to plant in my garden. My neighbor has one, and it is simply gorgeous when it is all in bloom. I know I posted this photo before but just in case you did not see it, this is the neighbor's plant. I'm not sure if it a rhodie or an azalea, but I sure would love to plant one in my yard.
Now it's time for me to get dressed and start this new day. DIL Janet brought me a bag of candy last night. Mmmmm. After reading the nutrition facts on the back of the bag, I've decided that I will have a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup for breakfast with my cup of coffee. It's not too big, and only 90 calories. Hmmmm, maybe I'll have two of them.
On that note, I shall leave you. So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

I am rolling with laughter ... isn't it wonderful when you get to be our age how you can choose to do what you want without a guilty concience? I love it ... Peanut Butter Cup for Breakfast. I can hear all the dieticians of the world moaning :)
I think that is a Rhododendron ... I have never seen an orange one either, but I agree ... gorgeous! As are they all ... but that is really unique. It would make a good MOM picture, don't you think?
This is errand day for me as well. I have to go Father's day shopping. We are having a beautiful cool in the 70's day. We had one of your hard rainfalls last night. I was surprised that most of my flowers were still intact this morning ... thank goodness. I also have to go to the grocery store to get the ingredients for Beef Stroganoff. That is a family favorite and I always fix it on special days. It is a wonder I remember how to fix it from occasion to occasion ... my memory is less than reliable these days. Well, I better get going. My Hubby closed the door on the pets this morning so I actually slept in until 8:00 ... what a treat, but now I am behind, so I guess there is no winning. Be well, Edna and hugs and sloppy wet laps to Pogo :)

We have a 61 to your 68 this morning, but we trump your weather! We had about a half hour of basement time and a 2AM back to bed last night! (But all is okay; nothing touched ground!)
Stupid Murphy! I hate it when I call for one thing and they “fix” another. There are so many good things about computers and being able to talk to someone in customer service who can access your whole account, but it definitely pens that same account up to the inputs crossing.
I think the orange plant might be an azalea because it looks like the fuchsia colored flowers my Noni had and I know she has azaleas in her flower garden. I need to see if there are any photos of her flowers in the family photos boxes. She had beautiful everything in her back yard, but her flowers were incredible. That’s why I love snapdragon too.
Your breakfast sounds wonderful! David and I have a half a turtle pie in the fridge that we want to get eaten before we leave for vacation. I suggested pie for breakfast this morning, but he refused to even comment! I think pie for breakfast…with my banana and yogurt!... is a fine idea. Humph.
I hope we all get some sun and dry weather soon. (There are Heritage trains coming into the area tonight that I haven’t photographed yet!) :)
Have a wonderful day!!
Hugs, Nani
And now I see you have "I thinks" on both sides for the orange flower. Maybe Noni might have had a rhododendron. I can't ever recall her trying to say rhododendron with her accent (hehe).
I agree with Andrea that it sure is a pretty flower in all its orange glory!
The peanut butter cup sounds like the breakfast of champions to me! Hey, it's got protein and dairy and chocolate is good for your heart so I say go for it!
Especially after the frustration of getting your password straightened out.
The orange bloom would be perfect for MOM.
Edna, check out this link http://www.directgardening.com/detail.asp?ProductID=7181
it's for rhododendron subgenus azalea --- an orange azalea so it looks like both sides of the naming issue are right == either way it is gorgeous I think there Is an azalea society of Massachusetts == maybe they can direct you to a local nursery. Glad you are feeling better ---- Donna
Hahahaha, I know all about Murphy's law lately!!!
So glad that the password is fixed and you can read your mail again.
Sometimes it is hard to see difference between azalea and rhodo, butI will try to figure it out. Perhaps you should try out the link that is given to you, it might help.
Hopefully today is no Murphy day, not for you and not for me LOL!
Have a great day.
Hug
Kyra
