We're In The Midst Of A Cool Down Period

September 9, 2018

Good morning.  Today is another cool and grayish day.  Temps are in the low sixties and there's a bit of a breeze.  Pogo and I did not make it out yesterday.  We have rain coming the next couple of days, so we really need to make it out today.

Yesterday I was very sluggish, so I stayed home and did a couple loads of laundry.  I also crocheted a bit, finishing up the new Minty dolly outfit and starting another one with the Crushed Berries.  Here are a couple photos of the new hat.  I think the Light Pink goes really well with the Crushed Berries.

When this new outfit is finished, I'll take some photos to share.  The next one will definitely be an orange one for me.  My big problem with it is deciding which shade of orange yarn to use.  They are all so beautiful so it is not easy for me to pick just one.  (I know, such a problem!)

This morning, I'm watching Jewel School on Jewelry TV.  I haven't been making any new jewelry lately, but this show is very interesting (and educating).  Some of the items that they sell are really super bargains.  Alas, I only have two little hands and only so many hours in a day.

I'm also having an allergy bout.  Sneezing, runny eyes, stuffy nose, etc, etc.  I need to go and take a pill.  Be right back.

I'm back.  I have to check my appointment book because I do believe I have a doctor appointment this week with my new doctor.  I also have to start making my list of questions to ask him.  If I don't do this, I'll forget most of what I want to discuss with him.

Now it's time for a new quick page.  This one is a fun one.  Zlata and her friend are trying to decide on what they will drink to.  Girls, drink to life and good friends!  That wine looks delicious!

Now I'm off to read some blogs.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Thanks a lot Miss Edna for all you share and for the lovely newsy e-mails. I've not been too interested in the computer lately, but do still want to scrap some! I took another rather nasty fall and sometimes, just can't sit long enough to do much...getting older is NOT for sissies for sure! I really enjoy reading your blogs! Hugs to you and Pogo and wishes for a terrific weekend! Mat
