March 1, 2018
Good morning. Wow, did you notice it?? It's already March! Time is really marching right on by. Here's the March page from my calendar.
Today the sun is shining, and the temperature is 37F degrees, Have no fear though, in a few hours we'll be enjoying temps in the mid fifties. I can absolutely dig it! There is a storm headed this way though. I'm hoping that it comes in and rushes right back out before Sunday.
Yesterday was a big day for our Aurora too. She turned two years old! You know, it's exciting to see my great grandbabies growing up, but oh my, they grow so fast! Here's a photo that her grandma (Deanne) sent me. Wow, the balloons are almost as big as she is. Aurora, I hope all your dreams come true. Happy Birthday Sweetie. I love you.
Last evening, DIL Janet came by after work, and we indulged in Stouffers Mac 'n Cheese for supper. Mmm! We had a nice quiet evening, watching a few of our favorite episodes of Law & Order on TV. The sad part is that I won't get to see her again now for three weeks, after I get back from vacation. Boo Hoo!
Yesterday, I spent a few hours working on my tax stuff. I still have a ways to go, but I think I'll make it. Today, I really need to buckle down and start packing things in my suitcase. I've been putting it off, but now we are down to crunch time. Today I want to get our meds all put together. I also want to pack my carry on bag. I need to see how heavy (or not) that is going to be.
I'm not going to worry about whatever I don't get done. Whatever will be will be. Pogo and I are just going to do our best to have a fun time for two whole weeks. When we get back, it will almost be Spring. Woo Hoo!
I need to dig out Pogo's stroller today too. It needs a good dusting before it can go on the plane with us. So I guess today is going to be another wicked busy day. But that's okay. Just three more days. Wow, I'm really getting excited now.
I do have a couple phone calls to make this morning, so I think I'll get going. Got lots of little ends to tie up. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.
