Happy Thanksgiving Day

November 23, 2017

Good morning.  The sun is shining and it is cold.  Brrrrr!  The temperature is 31F degrees, and probably won't get up much higher than 41F degrees today.  Tonight will be below freezing again.  Mother Nature is setting us up for a cold winter, I guess.

Speaking of Winter, it is only four weeks away.  The good part, though, is that we are that much closer to next Spring.  Only 117 more days and Spring will be here.

Pogo and I got up early this morning.  I've been feeding him doggie food, and he's been turning up his nose at it.  As soon as Joe came down into the kitchen (out in the house) Pogo was at our pantry door waiting to bark at him and let him know that it was turkey treat time.  My poor little Pogo is hungry!

Next it was time to put out a basket of peanuts and more birdseed for our critters.  Then it was time for Joe to start getting the turkey dinner ready for cooking.  Me, I'm going to make a cup of coffee and sit back and enjoy it.

Today I'll post the answers to yesterday's picture puzzles.  I love these puzzles because they help to keep your brain sharp.  I'll have to look to see if I have any more of them that I can share.  Here are the answers.

Now I'm going to make a fresh cup of coffee and watch a bit of TV.  Pogo and I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving Day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Happy Thanksgiving Miss Edna and Pogo,

Well now that I looked at the answers, Gentle giants are really easy to see! I saved the pages to my computer. I think that I will send them to Adrian and Cathy and Alex. They might have fun with them. Cathy will probably want to color them all.

I took Cisco out and it is so pretty out side. A bit cold. I breathed in the cold air so my throat feels a bit sore. I am having some coffee now. Cisco woke me up this morning talking to me and pawing my arm. A signal that he wants to go outside, so I took him out. Something was in the trees. It sounded like a hive of bees. It didn't bother Cisco tho.
Guess I will go and work on my blog really quick before Karyn get's here. Happy Thanksgiving! Cisco sends lots of tail wagging, sniffs and licks. I send lot of hugs to you and cuddles to Pogo... Love, Beth and Cisco

Happy Thanksgiving, Edna! I’ve missed reading my friends’ blogs.I haven’t needed reading glasses, but now I’m waiting for them anxiously. the eye doc said my distance vision has improved a lot because my car vision has become so bad. It’s normal for that to happen because I’m over 50. :(

I’ve seen the ads for “my pillows” a lot. I need a better pillow for the bed and recliner because I have pain in my neck and shoulders.

I’m sorry the flu shot took you down for a day. Guess I’m not getting the senior dose yet. It’s all my other changing meds that do me in, LOL My doctor brought mine over on my last visit. She set er bag down and popped my arm first so we wouldn’t forget.

We did spaghetti for Thanksgiving today. turkey dinner is ay my Dad’s Saturday, My aide and I are making my cranberry relish tomorrow. She’s been helping me to cook a few things and we may actually make gingerbread his year. (fingers crossed)

It’s time for me to get to bed, but I had a burst of strength in my hands for typing, :D

Big hugs for you and Pogo, Nani
