New Patterns

May 11, 2022

Good morning.  Temps will be in the fifties today.  No sunshine (yet).  It's actually a good day to work in the garden.  And for me, a good day to get rid of a bag of junk mail.

Do many of you get excited about getting rid of junk mail?  Some days I wonder why we get so much junk mail so often.  I suppose it keeps the Post Office in business.  And, I guess it keeps a few folks employed.

I did not do any crocheting these past couple days.  I'm not sure why.  I think being indoors for so long has had an impact on what I do.  Sometimes it's just easier to do a puzzle while I watch TV.

I found a new afghan pattern that I might try.  I'll know better after I have a chance to look over the pattern.  (Annie's Craft Store)

Last night I spent a few hours looking over everything on "Annie's" web site.  I finally ordered a few new sweater patterns.  I'll post photos when I get the patterns.

The sun is shining now so I guess it will be a sunny day after all.  I'm sure my plants are happy about this.  Now I'm going to fill my cup with coffee and enjoy some blog reading.  So, till Friday, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Here too it was some sun, some clouds and much wind.
It would be nice if some rain could fall. Next few days will be very dry.
That afghan pattern look fun, you can make it indeed of scrap yarn, or colors that go well together, or even one color, I guess.
Glad we don;t receive a lot of junkmail. We have a sticker on the mailbox, that we don;t want junkmail and such and it works rather good.
How is Twiggy doing? She should love the weather now, and don;t forget to talk to her every now and then!!
Have a lovely day,
Hugs

I wanted to stop by and say hello. As soon as Nick gets his results from his bone marrow biopsy we will have something to think about. We hope he will recover nicely and he able to get his strength back. All we can do is pray.

You always have such great patterns and yarns and your creative spriit is the best. Hoping your weather is good too. My friend in Rena, Nevada had snow, lotsof it for the past several days.

Take care my friend

Hi Edna, I have the same problem as most with the junk mail. I noticed the mail person leaving mail in my mailbox down by the street yesterday and I thought to my self, "Please don't leave me any junk mail." ha!

Your state may be warming up soon , Edna. Here in NH, it was in the high 70s and low 80s at the warmest today and Sat is supposed to be even hotter than 85 degrees. It's good to get some gardening done before the heat does come in.

As for the junk mail, as I stated in my recent post we do not get very much compared to many others. Sorry to read that yours is overwhelming.

Oh I love getting rid of junk mail and other paper stacks:) I am happy that you are getting some sunshine. We need some rain or I am going to have to do some watering. Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
