Good morning. Today is sunny and temps will actually make it to the low seventies. It's not going to last though. These old bones feel it in the cooler early morning temps. It's almost time to put the heat on in the house.
First, my Fedex package did arrive Tuesday. It was the new TV that I had bought for the main house. Yesterday, after work, Deanne came by and took the TV into the house, set it up, and hooked it up to the new antenna that I had bought. By the time she finished, the guys had quite a selection of channels to watch. I'm quite proud of Deanne. This was a job that none of the guys in the house were able to do. (all the dwarfs are guys)
More super news!! My newest great granddaughter was born yesterday morning. Cerys made her entrance into the world weighing 8 lbs. 12 oz, 21.5 inches. Welcome, little one. May God Bless you with a long, healthy, happy life.
Yesterday's mail brought my new book "Behind The Scenes." Of course, I had to have a peek inside it, and it's hard to put it down. The printing is small, so I do only read so many pages at a time. Miss Keckley was an amazing woman. For anyone who enjoys a bit of history with their story, you'll really enjoy these two books. (Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker by Jennifer Chiaverini and Behind The Scenes by Elizabeth Keckley) ($14.99 and $6.85 respectively at Amazon)
The new Christmas gift bags also arrived so now I can begin to wrap a few things. I'm working on the pockets for these last two pocket shawls. Pretty soon they'll be ready for wrapping. Then I just have to finish the doggie blanket that I'm making for my cousin's little dog Ginger.
Little by little I'm getting my projects finished. It's a great feeling, but it's also a bit sad. I'll just have to start another big project. hahaha. Actually, I already have the yarn for the next big project. It's going to be an afghan for one of my great grandchildren.
Before I leave to do a bit of blog reading, let me share a giggle with you. Image was borrowed from the web.
Now I'm off to do a bit of visiting. So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Oh my goodness, Deanne is a women gifted with many talents! The dwarfs should be very grateful to her.
Congratulations on the new great grandchild and congrats too to the parents. She's a little beauty!
I will have to starts wrapping too, and hoping I'll be able to send it away on time with all the trouble I mailed you.
We already have at times a bit the heating on, just to get the chill out of the house, then we can turn it low again.
Funny picture with the wishing well,
Have yourself a wonderful day,
Hugs

That is such a cute funny at the end! OH MY! And your new great grand baby is so precious and what a pretty name! Blessings to her for a wonderful life ahead...her and her parents!
Glad to hear your TV arrived without damage.
You are far ahead of me with your Christmas shopping, to be honest I don't know where to start, seems like everyone already has everything.
Enjoy your weekend Ms. Edna.

She's a beauty!
Lucky you have a techie/tool girl in your family, too. ;)
Love the cartoon! :)
Congratulations on the newest family arrival, Edna, and she is a beautiful little girl. Kudos to Deanne on getting the TV set up and working too. Christmas shopping is not something we have started thinking about so you are way ahead with your planning, Edna.
Beautiful baby girl and so many prayers. I love to pray for the littl eones. SOmeone said it is sad so many prayers for the babies to me. But not always sad, just giving their lives to God who will protect them the very best way He can. Jesus loved all the children so that is why I pray for the littles too. If Jesus loves us life can not be too awful can it?
Deanne is sure a great daughter. You are both blessed. :-)
