A Snowless Nor'easter

October 25, 2021

Good morning.  Tis wet and gray today.  A "snowless nor'easter" is expected to slam Massachusetts this week with buckets of rain and powerful 60mph wind gusts that could lead to toppled trees and power outages across the region.  The slow-moving significant coastal storm should last from last Monday night through Wednesday, bringing several inches of rain and damaging wind gusts.  (according to Google)

I don't know if the numbers are legible on this map, so I've made it bigger.  It looks like we could get somewhere between three and six inches of rain.  Time to get out the canoe.

Well, I worked on my crochet projects yesterday and two of them are ready for wrapping and packaging.  I finished the pockets for the wraps and now I just have to sew them on to the wraps.  That just leaves the doggie blanket to finish (about sixteen more rows to go) and the mystery project to finish. (three quarters done)

Today I have an appointment with my primary care doctor.  It's just a regular check up appointment, but I already wish it were all over.  I don't like going to the doctor.  Hopefully, I won't have to go back till next Spring.

I found a wonderful photo of Dracula Simia orchids and thought I'd share it with you.  This variety of orchids looks just like baby monkeys.  Wouldn't it be fun to look out and see a bunch of these in your garden?

Perry Mason is on TV now so I'm off to watch him.  Till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

They look exactly like little monkeys....and no, I don't think I would want to look outside and see them out my window! hahahaha! Enjoy your show and your day my friend!

My husband is obsessed with Perry Mason and now he has gotten me interested in it too. We watch it every day. Isn't it something how everyone always confesses in the courtroom?

We are getting that nor'easter right now and it is supposed to last until Wednesday also. So much rain and wind. Stay safe. I have to drive in it tomorrow morning.
