Scenic Martha's Vineyard

August 2, 2021

Good morning.  It's early and I've been up a while.  I've decided that I'm going to have to put Photoshop CC on this laptop if I want to be able to crop and/or resize any of my photos.  I do try to use the programs that come with the laptop, but I don't get what I want.

Here's the August page from my calendar.

Deanne took lots of wonderful photos over the weekend.  It's so hard to pick out which ones to share so I'll post a few today and a few tomorrow.  Martha's Vineyard is such a beautiful place.  And just look at this sailboat!  It's awesome!

This is one of the beautiful gingerbread houses.

Let's not forget the flowers.  Especially this gorgeous Tiger Lily.

And this is Deanne and Eddie enjoying the beautiful ocean view.

Meanwhile, I went online to order another skein of yarn for one of the pocket wraps that I'm working on, and I saw that there are some beautiful colors being added to the yarns that I use.  Oh my gosh!  I spent (what seemed like) hours looking at them and trying to decide what I could make with them.    After all that time, I realized that they won't be available until October.  Phew!  Another decision that I can put off till later.

This morning's TV fare is "Toon In With Me."  It's an hour of cartoons.  Right now, the pink panther is trying to outsmart a termite.  Obviously, he's not winning.

Now I think I'll go to the kitchen and make some breakfast and a cup of coffee.  Then I'll enjoy some morning blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Sounds as if teh laptop is working okay again.
Photoshop CC is really professional. and yes, you can do very much with it. I just wonder if the Photoshop elements could do good enough for you. It is less expensive( if I am right). But if you are comfortable with using the Photoshop CC then go for it, girl.
hahaha.
Beuatiful photos from Mattha's Vineyard. I will have to look it up to know where it is. I do like the photo of Deanne and Eddie.

What a luck that the new yarns are not yet available, hahaha. Now you can think longer about which one you will order.

Had a nice day here, quite nice weather, did laundry, did some ironing, acted rather lazy all day, oh my and did sit for a bit on the patio in the sun(with the visiting cat).

Now knitting time and later a cup of coffee when we are watching a daily quiz.
Have a wonderful day, stay safe.
Hugs
Kyra

That tiger lily is beautiful, and I love the gingerbread house. I've never been to Martha's Vineyard. Hopefully one of these days I'll get out there!

Love the pictures. I've never been to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. I've got to put them on my list for next year. Would love a visit. Thanks for the nudge.

I bet we watch the same shows in the early morning hours. HaHa - that Beaver always into mischief. The photos from Deanne and eddie are gorgoeus. My oldest girl has a friend who lived near the Cape. She was married to a rich boy and she went to law shcool in MA. But he was more into day drinking than marriage so she graduated and found a job in New Mexico. Now she just took a judgeship. She is a smart lady. Noelle visited her once and she lived by a cemeterey where many of our founding fathers were buried. You have a rich history in your state. At least our governor made the schools here teach about the Holocaust. His parents are still alive and they are Jewish so I like that much about him. Not much else though. When Rebekah went to Boston with her husband he was on business so she did all sorts of fun things. SHe went to see the stadium, it was the year the Red Sox won their world series. She loved it there and she went to Salem and saw all the history about the Witch Trials. She would go back in a minute. Uh oh I better stop writing here. I always enjoy visiting you and seeing what everyone is up to. You take care. Tonight we will see the bats coming home to roosyt or whatever it is they do They dance in the skies and sometime Rebekah give them food. They are so graceful and when they get their fill of food they disappear into the trees. She loved bats and penguins. She is a real animal lover. If you take her to the Zoo with you the animals will come to her. She has this animal whisper quality. ANyway you take care HUGS and LOVE across the miles
