Good morning. Today is going to be gorgeous! Temps are supposed to stay in the upper seventies all day. Woo Hoo! During the night, I actually slept for more than four hours in one shot.
I'm watching "Fit 2 Stitch" on TV. The host is showing us how to make a wrap. It's really quite easy, although I don't like how the wrap looks when you put it on. Of course, that's a matter of personal taste. Before this came on, the program was about teaching some new knit stitches. I thought the "braid" stitch was quite interesting.
I love these shows that teach you how to do things. Even if I'm not going to try it, I enjoy learning the "how to" about things. (Rhode Island PBS has a lot of these programs.)
I finished the latest baby crib blanket and will soon wrap it up and send it off to Florida for the new great granddaughter due in October. I've since learned that another great grandbaby is due in March. Not sure yet what the gender is. So, that makes three new babies. Wow! Talk about blessings!
I dug out a photo of the cocoon set that I had made several years ago for my great granddaughter Alima. The new set that I made recently is the same pattern. How cute is this?
I found another new really pretty baby yarn, but I'll have to wait until tomorrow to call and order it. I'll use it to make the next baby crib blanket. Meanwhile, I need to finish these pocket wraps. Last night I put a few more rows on each of them. A few more rows on each of them and they will be half done. Except for the pockets, of course.
My grandson Stephen got officially engaged recently. This is a photo of him and his fiancee, Nitya, and their mothers at the engagement celebration. I wish you kids many happy healthy years together.
On this happy note, I'm going to take my leave and enjoy some blog reading. So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

What a beautiful engagement photo! Best wishes to the happy couple and their families!
I used to LOVE watching PBS when I was living in the states. We still catch PBS programming every now and then on their overseas channels.
I enjoy teaching channels, especially cooking shows!
congratulations, on the new grand babies, and congratulation, best wishes to Stephen and Nitya!
Blessings,
Sue
