Henri Has Gone

August 24, 2021

Good morning.  Henri came and went without much ado.  Last night, it finally rained for a few hours.  We were very lucky. Although the higher temps are back for a few days.  It's going to be very hot.

Let us all pray for the folks in Tennessee who have lost everything from the floods.  If you can help these folks, I'm sure there will be lots of information on the web about what they need and where to send it.

My wrist brace came yesterday and I started using it last evening.  Hopefully, it will help.  Some Alka Seltzer helped with the runny nose for a little while.  I was able to put a few more rows on the baby blanket.  I have thirty two rows done already.  Awesome!

I meant to give you an update on Joe.  He's been feeling better and back to work.  Today he will see his doctor and have one more test, then he will find out what is to be the outcome for his appendix.  It doesn't sound like they are in a hurry to take it out.

Last night, I found some of the most adorable photos (on the web) of a tiny red squirrel.  They were taken by a Swedish-Dutch photographer, Girt Vegg, who has authored several books with a lot of these photos.  Here are just a few of the photos.  They are just so precious!

Now I'm off to enjoy some blog reading.  So, till Thursday, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.'

Hugs, Edna B.

Yes, Edna, Henri came and went here in Nashua, NH, too. We had a lot of rainfall late Monday afternoon and into the evening. As you said, the sun is out and heat and humidity are back so I am with you on staying indoors for today! Thanks for the anniversary well wishes. We had a nice getaway and there will be a future post about our adventures. The next couple of days are catch-up and R&R as i seem to have developed a head cold with the weather ups and downs. Glad you wrist support arrived and hope it helps you. The red quirrel photos were delightful!

Good that Henri brought some rain, but not too much, the gardens certainly were happy with it.
Good news about Joe, somehow a bit strange they are not in a hurry to take the appendix out, but of course, when there's no infection that could get dangerous, better not yet an operation. Give him our greetings, will you?
Those photos are delicious and superb.

Your blanket is advancing uick, now also hoping your wrist will hold on.

I was in city centre today, had to find something, but it wasnt there, neverthelessI found a few other things that will come in handy.

Have a wonderful day,
Hugs
Kyra

I am glad you are safe and not in harms way. :-) Love the photos. I just saw a scampering squirrel. They run across the power line. Sometime we find their remains in the back of the yard. We had to cut down this dead tree in the backyard and the squirrels and birds hang on to the telelphone wires, the cable or the power. Hope oyu have a great day.

Those squirrel pics are great! I wish our squirrels would cooperate like that for photos. :)

Glad you didn't get too much bad weather from Henri.
