Good morning. Tis cloudy outside at the moment, but the temperature is near 40F degrees. I haven't decided yet if Pogo and I will go out today to do errands. We'll see how I feel in a couple hours.
Yesterday, Pogo and I went shopping to buy him a supply of doggie food. I think Pogo likes that pet supply store. The people are friendly, there's lots of goodies everywhere and it's a great place to meet lots of other doggies.
I also wanted to stop by Pearle Vision to order new glasses, but decided to do that another day. Depending on how my breathing is, I can only do so much at one time. Besides, it was mid afternoon and I wanted to get home before the school buses started their afternoon routes. Driving home behind the buses is not a fun thing to do. It's stop and start all the way home.
In the evening, I spent a little time on my laptop working on a new quick page, and then it was time to purchase airline tickets for our vacation. Pogo's ticket price is the same; but wowsie, the regular ticket prices have gone up quite a bit. I usually travel Jet Blue and I have a lot of points saved up on my travel account, plus I had a $75 credit from last year's trip to Florida. Between the points and the credit, the price of my ticket was cut by half. That's definitely good news!
Next I have to arrange for the rental car. I'll wait a while to do this. I have found that booking the rental car so far in advance isn't always the best idea. While I'm gone, dwarf Helen will water all the plants in the main part of the house, and DIL Janet will take my house plants home with her. SIL Eddie will come by and take care of things in the house for me.
Now I mainly just have to focus on those pesky taxes. I'd like to get my portion of the work finished in the next two weeks. Once this is done, I'll feel much better. I also have to make an appointment for Pogo at the beauty salon. This weekend, he has an appointment with his doctor for a check up and to get his travel papers. (You need these to fly on the plane)
Today I'm in a really good mood, so I'm going to post another quick page for you. This one is very "Springy". Can you tell I'm a hurry for Spring to get here? haha.

Well that's my news for this morning. So, till Sunday, Y'all have an awesome weekend.
Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna,
Well I wish that it would make up it's mind here. One day is like summer and the next it is cold and dreary. Once again our poor trees do not know what to do. Some already have tender buds growing on them and I an afraid that we will have more freezes that will hurt them. I want to put my plants out to get some real sun but am afraid that bringing them in and out will hurt them. It is dreary and gray here today anyway. The nights are dropping into the 40's.
Thank you for the sweet QP. I have to get a new mouse because making pages are just way to hard to try and do at the moment. The mouse will not let me drag the elements over and if they do it skips all over the page, I have to lock everything once I get it into place so I am really just frustrated trying to work with it right now. I managed to do a page today for a friend. Her daughter is in college and they had a toilet paper fashion show so it was a great conversation on the forum. As it happened several years ago my daughters friend Amber entered a toilet paper contest. Charmin was the sponsor so all they could use was Charmin bathroom tissue, needle and thread and glue. She won first place. It was really an awesome dress. I will send you a photo of it.
I am so glad Pogo is eating. I am happy that he likes the store too. He is such a sweet little guy. I know he will enjoy being pampered at the salon! I wish that I could say the same about my Cisco. It is an ordeal and he has to have a muzzle on to get his nails trimmed. After it is over he is all lovey dovey and gives licks and kisses.
My son leaves tomorrow to go back to work. They are sending him to Kansas next. I am going to miss him.
I had a terrible night last night so I am going to eat some lunch and have a nap. Talk to you later... Hugs to you and Pogo. Love, Beth
Thanks a lot Miss E for the cute QPs and the lovely blog ravings! Glad your weather is a mite warmer! Ours is up and down worse than a yo-yo! I'll bet you are very anxious to fly off to Florida, so stop procrastinating and get those taxes done! I hate working on mine, too, but they are very simple compared to yours! Had the foundation guys back this week as one corner of my duplex needed a little more lifting...now the yard is a mess again! My 93 yr old neighbor is back home and doing good...she was in skilled nursing for 2 weeks until she got hydrated and some energy back. I just came from the post office, but my blog book did not come today so will have to wait until next week! You and Pogo have a fantastic weekend and keep sending the e-mails, I surely do enjoy them! Hugs sent to both of you, now I think I will curl up with my furballs and watch a little TV. Later! Mat
