Wrinkles On My Fingers?

June 30, 2014

Good morning.  Have you noticed?  Today is the last day of June.  By midnight tonight, half the year will be over.  I know I say it all the time, but where does the time go?   I'm getting older and grayer, the wrinkles have moved in and made themselves at home, and I'm still waiting for Spring.

I watch the commercials on TV for Life Lift all the time, and I think "Wouldn't that be fun?  Take a few days off work, have the flab and wrinkles on my face lifted, and come back to work a much younger woman.   BUT!!!  What about all the wrinkles on my fingers, hands and arms?

I suppose if we always wore gloves and long sleeved sweat suits, the Life Lift might work just fine.  These days, it's too hot and wet to be wearing sweat suits.  I guess I'll just have to wait until science comes up with a way to make the whole body look ten years younger.

Yesterday's email brought another wonderful surprise from my friend Kyra.  She had made me another beautiful layout using my photo of Eddie.  Thank you, thank you, my friend.

I also have a couple of new photos of my little man to share with you.  It's almost time for him to be getting another hair cut.  I know most Yorkies keep their hair longer and fuller, but I think Pogo looks much cuter with his hair trimmed short.

I'm at work and it's time to check the Mrs one more time before I pack up my things and go home.  I shall be back in a while.....................

Well I'm home now, and Pogo and I have just finished breakfast.  The sky has been overcast with clouds all morning, but a few times when the clouds had a little opening, the sun tried to peek through.  I pulled over a couple of times to take photos.  Here's two shots of the sun trying it's darndest to shine down on us,

That's all for this morning.  I need to finish up a load of laundry and then it's nap time for Bonzo here.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Thank You Kyra For My Wonderful Surprise

June 29, 2013

Happy Saturday morning.  It's really quite nice outside.  Although it's mostly cloudy, with the sun peeking down on us every now and then, the temperature is quite comfortable.  Rain on and off every day is becoming the norm around here.  The grass and the weeds are just loving it.

This morning when I opened my emails, there was a fabulous surprise waiting there for me from my friend Kyra.  She made me another fabulous scrapbook layout.  This one was of my grandson Kevin.  Have a look at this.  Isn't this just wonderful?

Kevin was our teeny tiny two pound miracle baby.  Boy oh boy, just look at him now!  Kyra, my friend, you have a wonderful gift for making scrapbook layouts.  This one put such a huge smile on my heart this morning.  Thank you, thank you.

Here's a couple of photos that I took the other day through some very textured (dirty) windows.  This Robin was quite a distance away but the photos are still okay.   Notice how fat she is?  I wonder if that means baby robins soon?  Or maybe she is just all fluffed up from her preening?  Hmmmmm.

I've just come from the nail salon, where I learned that our town will be having fireworks this year on next Wednesday evening.  I'm hoping to be able to take some photos.  The only other time I got photos of fireworks was completely unplanned.  While I was driving, we spotted the fireworks in the sky.  I pulled into a parking lot, got out of my car and leaned against the door and just clicked away.  The photos were hand held and not bad at all.

Now I'm going to make some lunch.  Pogo is sitting here quite patiently, waiting for some food.  Gosh, every time I look into his tiny little face I fall in love with him all over again.  But then, I imagine all of you feel that way about your fur babies too.   We are so human!  lol.

That's my news for today.  Till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Woo Hoo! The New Door Looks Great!

June 28, 2013

Good morning.  It's 5:10 a.m. and it should be bright daylight outside, but because of the rainstorms and the clouds it is not very light.  We had some heavy downpours with a bit of thunder and lightning during the night, and I guess it will be this way all day and tomorrow too.  Today, we are having flash flood warnings most of the day.

In a few minutes, I will have to start getting ready for work.  The baby sitter can't watch Pogo today so he will have to go to work with me.  He's rather thrilled about this.  I hope the day goes quickly because I did not get any sleep all night.  Some nights that's how it goes.

Yesterday, Eddie and Kevin picked up my new storm door, and got it installed.  My oh my, it looks so nice.  What a fabulous door!  If you want just screen on the top of the door, you just pull down the tab at the top of the top window and as you pull the window down, the screen comes with it.  When you push the window back up, the screen  goes back into the door.  This makes it super easy to wash the windows!

I can see now that I'm going to have to have the back of the house washed pretty soon.  It's making my new door look grubby.  That just won't do.  But my guys certainly did do a great job.

Well, now I really do have to get cracking here and start getting ready for work.  Be safe my friends.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

My Pogo Is Sooooo Brave!!

June 27, 2013

Good morning.  It's a bit on the cloudy side, but quite comfy outside today.  Now that the heat wave has broken up, the air is more breathable.  Today and tomorrow are supposed to be in the mid to high 70'sF.

I can't chat too long this morning because Eddie and Kevin (Grandson) will be here soon to start working on the back door.  Yesterday, Eddie and I went shopping for a new door.  In the end, we decided to spruce up the door that is currently on, and just buy a new storm door.  I can't wait to see the new storm door once it is installed.  Yes, I'll take photos to share.

As usual, Pogo had a wonderful time at the stores.  Everyone we meet stops to pet him, and ooh and aah over him.  Of course, he just loves it.  In the afternoon, Pogo had an appointment at the hospital to have a spot on his back checked.  It turned out to be a bacterial infection which is being treated with a spray on medicine and a special shampoo.

The best part of going to the hospital for Pogo is meeting so many other animals.  He just loves the great big dogs.  Yesterday, one large german shepherd was being kept on a close leash, and it upset Pogo because he couldn't reach the dog to play with him.  So he started barking at the large dog.  Mind you, the other dog's head was big enough to make 2 or 3 Pogo's.  But Pogo has no fear.  It is just so comical to watch him.

This morning, I have a photo of a very handsome gull.  I took this photo last week at our local park.  Some of my favorite subjects to photograph are gulls.  They really are quite interesting characters.

I also have a rose-art to share with you.  This lovely bloom came from my garden, and I found the verse on the web.

Now I really must get going and put some clothes on this adorable little body.  My "men" will be here soon to start working on the door.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fantabulous day.

TV Isn't Always Entertaining Anymore

June 26, 2013

Good morning.  The day is starting off pretty nice here, but I guess we will be having clouds and rain on and off a good part of the day.  We shall see.   The weather forecast calls for thunderstorms for the next seven days in a row.

Well, sleep was not coming so easily Monday night, and it was daylight Tuesday morning before I finally fell asleep.  I got up around 11 a.m. when SIL Eddie came by.  By the time I was able to sit at the computer and type  post, it was almost mid afternoon.  So I decided to take the day off.

I don't know if it was my laptop going crazy or if the internet was having a nervous breakdown, but I was not able to connect with most blogs and websites starting early Monday evening.  Even my emails had to wait until Tuesday afternoon before I could open them.

Are any of you out there fans of one of TV's newer shows "Honey Boo Boo"?  If so, I want to apologize to you for offending you, but I think this is one of the most disgusting shows on TV.  When did watching an obese, ill-mannered child with really bad behavior, and doing rude, disgusting things on national TV become a form of family entertainment?

I am so very unimpressed with most of the entertainment fare that is offered on television.  There is so much violence, sex and stupidity in most of the programming.  Is it any wonder that I watch the Weather Channel and Build A Word?   There were a few programs offering  fashion design that I enjoyed, but they haven't been on the air for a while.

In all fairness, I will say that I am so thankful for all the re-runs of Law & Order and NCIS, and the cooking competition shows such as Chopped and The Worst Cooks In America.  This year, I have also been enjoying America's Got Talent.

The upside of all this bad programming is that maybe I will spend more time listening to my music collection, and less time watching the boob tube.   Who knows, I may even have to get better acquainted with my vacuum to keep myself entertained.   Oh Lordy, I was hoping that day might never come.  Groan, groan.

Enough of my babbling.  I have some photos to share that I took of the water lilies at our local park.  I think they are just soooo pretty.

Now I really must get busy here, and put some clothes on.  SIL Eddie will be coming by soon to take me shopping.   We will probably start at Grossman's Outlet Store.  They have some really good buys on building and home improvement supplies.   This afternoon, Pogo has an appointment with the doctor.  There is a spot on his back that needs to be checked, and he may need a new rabies shot too.  I will have to check on that.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

It's Mandarin Orange Monday Again

June 24, 2013

Good morning.  Boy oh boy, today's going to be a warm one!   I don't think it ever went below 65 F all night, and today should be in the low 90's F.  I'm thinking that maybe Summer is finally here.  The one redeeming factor is that there is a little breeze outside.  Unfortunately, it doesn't help indoors.  Ah well, pretty soon I will be in my little car and on my way home.

That big ole gorgeous moon (some call it the Super Moon)  was lighting up the sky again last night.   I did manage to get a few shots of it in between the clouds moving on by.

Today is Mandarin Orange Monday, and I have a photo to share that I took at the pond where the swan family lives.  Can't find the orange?  (Hint - look at his feet.)

Pogo and I did not make it to the flea market yesterday, but we did walk around the yard a bit.  After doing a couple of things in the house, it was nap time.  Next weekend though, I think we will make it to the flea market.  It good exercise walking around, and who knows maybe I'll find a bargain.

SIL Eddie has errands to do this morning, but if he gets done early he will come by and we will go shopping for a new door.  I don't know yet if I want just one outer door, or that and a storm door for the other side of the house.   Once we get the new door (s) bought and installed, I shall set up the new lawn furniture and we can all enjoy sitting out in the yard.

Maybe Joe will set up the barbeque grill this week and we can cook our burgers on it.  Oh yum!  I can already taste those burgers.  Darn!  I just finished a cup of Light Pomegranate Berry Yogurt and was feeling pretty satisfied -- until I mentioned those burgers.  Now I'm getting hungry again!  lol.

It's time now for me to check on the Mrs.  Then I can pack up my things and pretty soon be on my way home.  Yeahhhhhh!  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Gorgeous Big Moon Last Night

June 23, 2013

Good morning.  I'm at work, and the Mrs is snoozing away.  I went outside about five a.m. to see if the moon was still visible, but it's not up there.  I mean, it's there somewhere, just not where I can see it.  Last night I was able to get a few shots of the moon but they were not as good as I would have liked.  This is one of the better ones.

Yesterday,  while I slept the day away, two of the dwarfs went to a flea market and came home with a present for me.  When I went outside to go to work last night, this is what I saw whirling away in the little garden near the shed.  Isn't it cute?

There's really not much news for this morning so I think I'll do a bit of catching up on my emails and blog reading.  Maybe if I'm not too tired later this morning, Pogo and I can take in a flea market.  I haven't been to one since this past winter in Florida.  Hmmmm, this sounds like a good idea.

Well, I'm off now.  It's time to check on the Mrs.  Till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a scrumptious day.  (Now there's a nice word!)

Hugs, Edna B.

So Much Beauty In The Sky

June 22, 2013

Good morning.  Gosh, I slept late this morning.  If it wasn't for Pogo insisting that I get up, I would probably still be under those nice warm covers.  So, as soon as I finish with the laundry, I think I just may go back for a nap.  I'm tired today, and tonight is a work night.

Late yesterday afternoon, Joe and I went food shopping.  When we finished and were packing the groceries into the car, the sky was putting on a gorgeous light show.  You know me, I love photographing the clouds.  Today's were just a bit different, and so interesting.

I got out my camera and started shooting away.  After a while, Joe grabbed the camera from me and insisted that we take our groceries (and frozen foods) home.  Sometimes I am so bad!!  But here are some of the photos.  The first two were taken a couple of hours earlier on my way home from work, and the rest are from the parking lot at the supermarket.

Are these not super?   Sometimes the beauty of nature is right there in front of us.  We just have to look up.  Tonight the moon is supposed to be huge, so I'm hoping to get some nice photos of that too.  We'll see.  I'll be at work so I may not have a chance to take the camera outside.

Well, there's no more news for today, so I'll get back to my laundry.  Till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Finally, Some Happy News On TV

June 21, 2013

Good morning.  It's really nice out right now, but it's supposed to get pretty warm as the day goes on.  Ah well, it's certainly better than being flooded with too much rain.  This will have to be a short post because I'm at work and the Mrs will be waking soon.

My babysitter did not wake up on time this morning, so I have Pogo here with me.  Let's just hope the Mrs doesn't get too upset about it.  I don't understand her, she lets everyone else bring their dog into the house, but she does not like me to bring my dog into the house.  Go figure!

Yesterday, Pogo and I shopped at Petco for a couple of new shirts (for him), and then we went to the park for a while.  Here's a view of one small area of  the park.  Isn't this gorgeous?

There are quite a few young ducks this year, and they are such a delight to watch.  Here's one batch of them, playing and chasing for food that bystanders throw into the water.

Gosh, this morning I wore Bermuda shorts and flip flops to work because I knew it was going to be hot today, but at the moment it is feeling a bit cool on my toes.  I suppose though, in a couple of hours I'll be much happier that I wore these things.

Did anyone see the item on yesterdays TV news about the baby who was given a new type of hearing implant, and he heard his first sound?  It was his Daddy's voice.  Oh my, what a beautiful story!  The look on this little guys' face when his father spoke was incredibly priceless.  We need more stories like this in the news.

Now I really must be getting busy here.  The Mrs will be calling for her breakfast soon.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a spectacular day.

Hugs, Edna B.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GARY JR.

June 20, 2013

Good morning.  You're not going to believe this, but I just finished typing this whole post, and I guess I breathed wrong because it all just disappeared into thin air.  It's that miserable touch pad!!!!!!!  I forgot to go into the control panel and shut it off.  All you have to do is look at the keyboard the wrong way and everything you are working on goes away.  Groan, groan, groan!!

Well, I'm not going to try to re-type everything.  I would disconnect the pad for good, but if I do, and I lose or forget my mouse, I won't be able to get into my laptop at all.  It's a lose, lose situation.  Grrrr!

I was in such a good mood, but now I'm getting crabby again.  It's time to break out the email that my Deanne sent to me yesterday.   "To make you smile - found this!!  -- I wish I were a glow worm - cause a glow worm's never glum - cause how can you be grouchy - when the sun shines out your bum!!! xoxo"

Well now, that did it!!  No more gloomies!

I'd like to wish my son Gary Jr a very happy birthday.  Today  is the big 50!   Gary Jr, I hope your day is filled with love and happiness.

Today, I have a couple of photos to share that I took at the beach last summer.  This first was the view from across the street from the water, and the second photo is the water slapping against the rocks.  The orange glow is from the setting sun.

Now it's time to get busy here.  Pogo is wanting to go for a ride to the park, and I'm thinking that's a good idea.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

To Shred Or Not To Shred

June 19, 2013

Good morning.   The sun is shining bright, and the weather man is promising several warm sunny days in a row for the rest of the week.  Yesterday started out pretty nice, but then the sky got dark and the rain came with  just a bit of thunder in the background.

The past couple of weeks, I've been reading a lot in the newspaper of folks complaining about the changes in Boston airport's runways, and the extra noise overhead from more planes.  I really did not pay much attention to most of it, but then last night I understood what these folks were complaining about.

It seemed as though the planes were taking off right overhead all through the night.  Mind you, if you were already asleep, you probably would not even hear the planes.  I'll have to wait to see how this extra air traffic sounds after it has been here a while.

Yesterday, I got the new shredder set up, but that's far as far as I got.  It just was not a "feel good" day for me and I finally took to my bed.  Today, I will get to the shredding.  It was suggested that I might take all my shredding to a local store that does it for free, but I have my reservations about that.  Our town has set aside a day to do our shredding.  It's free, just pack it up and bring it to them.

The problem I am having with this is my personal business.  With the government downloading everyone's personal business off the internet, I don't really trust the town to shred my papers if I am not there watching.  Most often, these places tell you to just leave your bags of papers and they will do the shredding later.  Thank you, but I'll do my own shredding.

I think I will have to re-schedule my cleaning lady too.  I need more time to get every thing clean before I let her in to clean it for me.  Gosh, don't I sound pathetic?  This happened some years ago when I was lucky enough to be able to hire some help with the cleaning.  I wore myself out getting everything cleaned so that she wouldn't see the mess.  Really!  I think my brains got just a tad bit fried over the years.

Remember how the woodchucks ate my welcome plant?  Well it is beginning to grow again.  Here's a photo of how it looks now.  It's getting new blossoms.

I took this next photo as I was leaving work a few mornings ago.  The birds have found a new branch for their morning meetings.

Now it's time to get dressed and start my day.  I want to see what's for supper tonight too because Janet will be here.  Hmmmmm.   I think Pogo and I will sit out in the yard for a bit too, and enjoy this beautiful weather.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Getting Caught Up A Bit

June 18, 2013

Good morning.  What a gorgeous morning we are having here.  Late yesterday afternoon, the dark clouds moved in, and then the rain came along with a bit of lightning.  We did not get the brunt of this downpour.   Someone somewhere got quite a downpour, but we just got some light rain that left the evening air very comfortably cool for sleeping.

Yesterday morning, Pogo and I got out for a while and did a few errands.  It felt good to get caught up on a few things.  While we were at the hardware store, I met a lady who does house cleaning.  We started to chat and I've hired her to come to my house and help me with my cleaning.  Hmmmm, I hope this works out.  We shall see.

Today, I have a couple of cute photos to share that I took at work last Friday.  This little sparrow was sitting on a branch outside the window.  I grabbed my camera and started clicking away.  When he noticed me, he flew away.  But not before I got another adorable photo of him.

While I was out shopping yesterday afternoon, I bought a new paper shredder.  I also purchased the extended warranty so that when the shredder dies on me after a few months, I'll at least be able to get a replacement.  So, now you know what I will be doing later today.  Yup!  Shredding.

That's all my news for this morning.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

It's Mandarin Orange Monday Again

June 17, 2013

It's another gorgeous morning here in New England.  Today's temp is supposed to get up to the low 80's F.  I think I can handle that!  This will be a good week to get outside and work in the gardens.  With a whole week of pretty good weather, I'm hoping to get caught up on a lot of things around the house.

Hopefully, later today, Joe will go shopping with me for more birdseed and some outdoor furniture covers.   I would like to be able to cover the lawn benches at the end of each day to protect them from rain.   When we get back from shopping, maybe Joe will have time to mow the grass.  It's beginning to get tall again.

Today is Mandarin Orange Monday again.   I have another beautiful sunset photo from last summer.  Because it is similar to last week's sunset (they were taken on the same night), I'm putting up two photos this morning.

I also have a pretty photo that Dee Dee sent to me from her cell phone.  This is a stray cat that wandered into her yard and adopted Deanne and her family for it's own.  Isn't this a beautiful kitty?

I'm home from work now and my little Pogo is snuggled up close to my side.  It's such a joy to come home to him.  After giving me a fabulous welcome, he runs into the living room and does his "happy dance".  He is such a joyful little guy.  I think one day this week I will take him shopping for a couple more "muscle" shirts.  You know, the sleeveless tank tops.

Today, I need to call the car dealership and make an appointment for my car's regular check up.  This should have been done several weeks ago, but well, life gets in the way and I get behind.   Not a  problem though, we get there eventually.

Well that's the news for this morning.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fantabulous day.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY

June 16, 2013

Good morning, and Happy Fathers Day to my son Gary and my sons in law, Eddie and Mac.  I also wish a great day for all the other dads out there in blogland.  The sun is shining and it's warm, so I guess there will be a lot of barbeque grills fired up today.  Gosh, just the thought of it makes me hungry for a big fat juicy hamburger.

Speaking of hamburgers, I stopped at McDonalds last night on my way to work to get my iced coffee and it took me 21 minutes to go through the drive thru and actually pick up my order.  There were four cars ahead of me.  Imagine!!  When I got to the pick up window, there were four young employees inside doing nothing at all other than making my cup of coffee.  I was then five minutes late for work.  Not acceptable.

I'm watching a shopping channel (Jewelry Television) that is featuring man-made diamond jewelry.  Oh my, some of it is just gorgeous!!  Of course, some of it is also a bit on the gaudy side.  I like big and splashy, but I do have my limits.

How about some more hummingbird photos.  These are some of the ones that I took yesterday at work.  The Mrs has a feeder right outside the living room window.  I have been trying for so long to get some decent shots of the male hummingbird to show off his beautiful colored throat.

Well that's all the news for this morning.  Now I want to spend some quality time playing with Pogo before I have to take my nap.  Tonight is another work night.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh Wow, Sunshine Again!

June 15, 2013,

Good morning.  Tis a beautiful morning, sunny and warm.  While it lasts, this is a good day to get out and do a few errands.  Hopefully, I can get SIL Eddie over here this morning to fix one of the toilets.  During the night, its inner workings decided to break down.  Of course.  Things should not run too smoothly for too long.  lol.

After that, I need to go shopping and buy more bird seed.  While I'm there, I can pick up some new puzzle books too.  Got to keep my mind sharp.  Of course, whether or not I get out to shop depends on how soon Eddie can get the toilet fixed.  Most important things first.

Yesterday at work was a good day for photography.  One tiny little male hummingbird was quite willing to sit for a minute or two so that I could take his photo.  I must say that I was soooooo happy at finally getting some decent shots of a male.  Here are just a few.  I have more, but I'll save them for another day.

I checked out the link that a friend sent about the orange rhodie, which is actually an azalea, and I'm going to call and order me one orange and one yellow.   If you're interested, here's the link:
http://www.directgardening.com/detail.asp?ProductID=7181.   You can also request a free catalogue.

Now I need to get busy and start my day.  Lots to do, and only so many hours!  lol.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fantabulous day.

Woo Hoo! The Internet Is Back On

June 14, 2013

Tis a windy, rainy morning here in New England.  All night long, the wind blew and it rained.   I guess this is the monsoon season for us.   One bad thing about the rain is the mess it is making of all the beautiful flowers and bushes.   Petals are falling off flowers, and plants and bushes are laying over on the ground.  Sad, sad.

This is the first year my peonies have blossomed so beautifully, and they are laying on the ground with all the other flowers.  Well, at least I got to enjoy the pink one that I brought into  the house.

I'm at work this morning, and lo and behold, the internet is on.  Every time I put more money on my broadband stick, the internet comes back on.  Maybe I shouldn't have put so much money on it.  We'll see.  There's still the weekend nights to get through.

Here's a photo of one of my tall irises before the rains.  Thank goodness I took so many photos when I had the chance.  I had planted a pink bulb and an orange bulb.  Neither of those has come up.  I guess the critters ate the bulbs.  I'll just have to buy some more.

My pink rose tree looks so sad with its branches hanging down to the ground.  This is a photo that I took of my pink knock out rose bush a few days ago when the sun was shining.

Once the rain stops, and the sun coms back out, I will have to get out in the yard and do a bit of pruning.   All the rain is making things grow tall and lanky, but then  they are just falling over.    I think we are supposed to be getting a day or two of sun pretty soon, but then a few more days of rain will follow.  Gosh oh gee, goody goody.

I want to thank a friend for leaving me a link to look up those gorgeous orange rhodies.   I don't care what they are.  If I find them, I will buy me one.    Now I must get busy here.  The Mrs will be waking soon and wanting her breakfast.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

A Murphy's Law Day

June 13, 2013

Good morning.  It's cloudy and damp, with more rain on the way for today and tomorrow.  The temperature is about 68F, and we are having a flood alert.  I just hope that is all it is.  An alert.  I'm just getting a bit tired of all the wet weather.

I have an update on my phone calls yesterday with the cable company.  When my phone calls were finished, and I finished posting here on the blog, I decided to catch up on some of my email.  Oh no!  Oh no!  What happened to my email?

When I clicked on my email, it just kept trying to open and finally a message would pop up saying that it could not open because there was a problem with my server and my password.  I swear, I must have been going through a "Murphy's Law" day.  Everything that could was going to go wrong.

After trying to figure things out on my own, I finally realized that the cable company must have changed the wrong password on my internet account.  So, back to the phone I went.  I was good though, and did not rip any of my hair out.  I've learned that bald does not make wrong things go right.

After talking with the cable representative, she agreed that indeed they changed the wrong password on my account.  She apologized said that she would fix it.  She did, and I ended up with a new password.  When I tried my mail again, it all came tumbling in.

This morning I will finally get some of my errands done because I have an appointment at the nail salon in a couple of hours.  While I'm out, I will get a few things done.  Later today, I will take Joe food shopping.

I have a fun photo to share.  The other day, I was looking at my window, and thought that it looked rather interesting with the plant showing through the curtain.  So, of course, I took a photo.

I also took a photo of a blossom on one of my rhododendron plants before the rain could knock all the petals off.

There are no blossoms on the other rhodie plant yet.  Maybe soon.  I would love to find an orange rhododendron to plant in my garden.  My neighbor has one, and it is simply gorgeous when it is all in bloom.   I know I posted this photo before but just in case you did not see it, this is the neighbor's plant.  I'm not sure if it a rhodie or an azalea, but I sure would love to plant one in my yard.

Now it's time for me to get dressed and start this new day.  DIL Janet brought me a bag of candy last night.  Mmmmm.  After reading the nutrition facts on the back of the bag, I've decided that I will have a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup for breakfast with my cup of coffee.  It's not too big, and only 90 calories.  Hmmmm, maybe I'll have two of them.

On that note, I shall leave you.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.
