BOO!! Here we go again. I've already started this post and after about three paragraphs, Blogger wiped the whole thing out. Are they playing Halloween tricks on us? Not nice, Blogger!!
There is still no power at work, so we have been using a wood stove for heat and cooking and candles for light. Because I needed to photograph a candle for my photo class, I took a photo of one of the candles I used at work last night. I must say, that candles give everything a nice glow.
You won't believe this, but even the cell tower in that town where I work was down last night. This morning it was back to working. One good thing, I learned how to work the wood stove. If it is set right, the wood burns for seven or eight hours. And, it warmed the whole house comfortably.
I also have a couple of photos from yesterday morning to share. I had the chance to stop and take a few shots of some nice scenery on my way home. I especially love how the trees looked.
I've been trying for a very long time to get a photo of the flocks of geese as they head South, but I am usually driving in traffic, or worse, I don't have my camera with me when I see the geese. Yesterday morning I caught a glimpse of a small flock. I was driving so I just picked up the camera, pointed it out the window, and took my chances that I might get a photo. Here's what I got. Not great, but not bad.
Folks, I was going to post a freebie for you but I need to upload it and get the link. So I will post it for you tomorrow. In the meanwhile, if you're out on the roads today, be careful of all the little ghosties and ghoulies with their candy pumpkins.
We don't get any trick or treaters here but I remember when we used to have lots of little kids dressed in all sorts of adorable costumes coming around for their treats. Nowadays, on Halloween Eve, Tootsie and I just hop on my broom and fly around the world. It's quite an exhilarating ride. If you look up at the sky late tonight, you just might see us as we fly past the moon. If I see you out in your yard, I'll wave.
Now it's time to rustle up a bit of breakfast for myself and Tootsie, then it's nap time for Bonzo here. Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantastically scary (but safe) Halloween Eve.
Hugs, Edna B.

Perhaps we can meet up in the sky somewhere all together with Snowy and Minky and have a gathering sitting on our broomsticks LOL!
Have a happy Halloween
Hugs

We had 157 kids tonight! I think I saw you and Tootsie. I almost missed you - you were flying so fast it sounded like a plane! Thanks for the wave! :)
Now, I need to go warm up. The opening door for 2 hours was COLD!
Hugs, Nani
Oh that looks too much like winter!
