The Rains Are Catching Up To Us

August 15, 2011

Good morning.  It's gray and quite soggy this morning.  I suppose a day or two of this stuff won't be so bad, but then I hope it goes back to sunny and warm.  I don't want to see Summer leave us just yet.

During the night, I was able to design a couple of QP's, and a few more pieces for the September collab kit.  I also checked around on the web to see what's available for photography courses both at the local college and on line.  I think it's time to do some serious learning about this camera of mine.

Before the rains came, I took some new photos of the flowers in my garden.  Here is a peek at one of the orangey coral roses.

And this next plant, Citrosa, is something new that I found and we planted beneath windows.  It's supposed to help keep mosquitoes away.  We planted two of them, and so far this year we haven't been bothered by many mosquitoes.

I'm still at work, so I'll get right to the posting of Parts 3 and 4 of  "Tropical Sunset."   Mrs. will be waking soon, and it will be time to shut down the computer.   Here is my preview.

Here are your download links for Part 3 and 4 of  "Tropical Sunset."
EXPIRED

When you have finished downloading, hop on over to Su's blog and pick up her parts.  Here's a preview of her parts.

That's all for this morning.  Soon it will be time to leave for home.  Woo Hoo!!  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

That rose looks really delicious!
I agree with you that a bit of rain can be welcom, but agree too that summer should stay much longer with us!
Seems, Jan is feeling a bit better, and till now there are lots less visits to the toiletroom. May be that is a good sign, cross fingers it is the start of his recovery!
Enjoy your day.
Hugs

I didn't know you could plant a citrosa and have it fight mosquitoes...I thought it was just stuff in candles! Cool.

You take good photos.

I'm working on the photography class at HW now...trying hard to get it started!
