Don't You Just Love A Bargain?

Good morning.  Yesterday turned out to be a bit on the warm side, but beautiful.  Tootsie had an appointment at the beauty salon, and Dee and I went shopping at the Christmas Tree Shoppe.  Gosh, I just love that store.  You never know what you will find, but you can be sure it will be a bargain! 

I have been looking for plastic table cloths for a while now, and found them at the Christmas Tree Shoppe.  Of course, I bought three of them.  I use them in my car to keep the floor and seat clean when I am  hauling new plants home.  They also make great covers for the washing machine.  Seems like folks are always setting things on top of my washer and then not cleaning up after themselves.  Putting a sign on the machine that says "This is not a table.  Please do not put your things here." does not seem to work.  I guess the dwarfs don't read very well.  So I end up putting a plastic table cloth on the washer to keep it clean.

This week, Eddie is fixing and painting the walls in our front hall.  Even with just the primer on, it looks so much brighter.  Which reminds me, he will be here soon and I still need to get dressed. 

I do have a couple of photos to share this morning. This first photo was a surprise shot.  While I was at the sink (Friday at work), I saw a blur out of the corner of my eye and grabbed my camera and started clicking.  It was only a spit second, but I did get a photo.  There was a hummingbird feasting on a tiger lily right outside the window.

A few minutes later, I saw this little chickadee sitting on top of the feeder pole just waiting his turn.
