A New Collab Kit "Cat In The Basket"

March 6, 2011,
*
It's a gorgeous sunny morning here at my tiny little piece of Florida. I can't believe that a whole week has passed and that we haven't really gone anywhere or done anything special. Basically, we've been having a marvelous time sharing Photoshop knowledge with each other. What a great way to learn!! Su is very good with this program, and has taught me so much.
*
Even Tootsie has been having a good time. When we first got here, she ran right over to a patch of grass, and lo and behold!! She peed on the grass!! Will wonders never cease!! Now each time we go out the door, she has to sniff around to make sure it's still her spot. Good doggie!! (Of course, that's the only time she pottied outdoors. I mean, let's not overdo a good thing!!)

Last night, we finished up the March collab kit. This one is called "Cat In A Basket" and should be perfect for scrapping all your great kitty photos. It also has some things for St. Patrick's Day. Due to time constraints and internet allowances, we've done this kit a bit different. For our first posting, we will each be posting a set of QP's made from the kit. Then the next two Mondays we will each post our last four parts.
*
I am posting tomorrow's part now just in case I do not have a chance to get back on the internet in the morning. First, here's a layout that I made mostly from the new kit. We're just kicking back and having a bit of fun.
*
Next, here's the preview of my QP
Set.

At the moment, I'm multi-tasking. While my laundry is drying, I am using the internet while I can. I think maybe this afternoon, we'll go for a ride to get some fresh air and look for photo opportunities. Yesterday, my friends Rhoda and Marshall left to go home. Next Saturday, Tootsie and I head for Boston, so I want to make the most of the week that's left.
*
There is one thing that I would like to do while we are here. And that is to go up for a helicopter ride and get some aerial shots of where we are. The magic words are "I would like to" however, this does not mean that I will actually have the nerve to do it. We shall see.
*
Now it's time to go back and check my laundry. Till my next posting, Y'all have a magnificent day.

Hugs,. Edna B.

First off, thank you for the quick pages! You know I don’t use QPs often, but these ones are quite sweet! I love your sample layout! It sounds, and looks, like you and Su are having a wonderful time!

We had rain yesterday that washed away all the snow. Then, the rain turned to snow and we got a couple new inches. (UGH!) But it’s sunny and warm enough to melt the walks and drives. We got it from Chicago, maybe it's heading to Mass next? See all the fun you’re missing up north? ;)

I loved the bird pics! I always call Kaline a vulture when she sleeps on the table next to my computer. In the strong “mommy, mommy, mommy,” kitty world she still lives in at five and a half, she sits on the table when I’m doing school work to be near me and has learned how to sit and sleep! Crazy cat! Of course, that’s why I am so looking forward to the new collab! I scrap kitties so much!

Keep having fun and enjoying the nice weather! (I’ll continue to feel the vicarious warmth!) :D

I love the layout you did with the two Grandma's playing LOL! You two are having a real good time together! Wonderful. And it should be great to be busy on the computer together and at the same time learn some tricks.
Oh, what a miracle Tootsie performed! No chance at all that she might pee another time on the grass and take that experience home with her? I am afraid not, but ...... you never know when another miracle peeps around the corner LOL!
Make that helicopter flight! I once did one above the Caucasian mountains and it was a great experience!
Hugs t both

You are much braver than I - a helicopter ride just doesn't sound good to me.
It's fun to learn you enjoy photoshopping as well as scrapping. I have a series of photoshop demos coming up in the next few days, although I only have elements - not the full blown photoshop. Enjoy your warm weather - the snow is coming down in Wisconsin.

Wanted to let YOU know, that I've tried many times to Thank Ms. Su for her parts of the collabs - however her comment "program" doesn't like me. Can't get it to accept my google account - yet it works on yours. Hmmm??

Anyhow, I am not DLing & runnig - just frustrated with her comment page set up.
