HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011

Happy New Year everyone. My wish for all of us is a year filled with peace and happiness, good health and prosperity. I have to admit, Tootsie and I did not even see the ball drop last night at midnight, nor did we get to see any of the fireworks that were on TV. Maybe today there will be reruns of the celebrations on TV that we can watch.

How about New Year Resolutions? Have you all made some? Are they the same ones you make every year that don't come to pass? I stopped making resolutions quite some time ago because I wasn't working very hard to make them happen.

I start out good, then I fizzle out badly. This year I will try again. Only this time, I will be a bit more reasonable. Instead of saying that I will lose "x" number of pounds, I will try to lose a few pounds over several months. I will try to get out more. I would like to try some new photographic ventures. I would like to improve the quality of my photographs, and learn more about how my camera works.

In a couple of weeks, my blog will be celebrating it's third anniversary. It doesn't seem possible that three years have slipped by while I have been busy here chatting with you and learning scrap design. I will have to think of something nice to celebrate the anniversary. Hmmmm, food for thought.

Now I think I will finish my coffee, and then Tootsie and I will probably go back to bed for a little more beauty sleep. (It's only 6 am.) Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous first day in this brand new year.
