It's A Great Day For The Market

October 10, 2011

Good morning.  It's looking to be a lovely day with lots of sunshine.  Oh, I hope so because I'm hoping to get into Boston to meet a friend.  The Queen Jester and her hubby will be in Boston at the Farmers Market today, and it would be nice to meet up with them.  I haven't been to this market in years so it will be nice to see the changes.

I'm watching the shopping channel, and they are showing a presentation of a Nextbook tablet.  I think I might like one of these, but I take a while researching before I actually buy.  This one is sounding really nice.  But I will wait a bit longer before deciding whether or not I need one of these gadgets.

Now they are showing expensive zippered hoodies with NFL team logos printed on them.  The ink looks as though the item has been washed and dried a hundred times, and the zipper opening is rough and tattered looking.  The sales rep is saying that this is done on purpose so that the hoodie will look like you've been wearing it for quite a while.  Whatever happened to buying new clothes that actually look new?  This is a definite pass for me.  I like my clothes to get their "worn" look the old fashioned way.

This morning, I am posting Parts 3 and 4 of our October collab kit "Fall Festival".  This is such a fun kit for scrapping all your Fall and Halloween photos.   Here is my preview.

Here are your download links:

EXPIRED

When you have finished downloading, stop by Su's blog and pick up her Parts 3 & 4.  Don't forget to take a moment to say thank you.   Once again, Su has crammed her parts chock full of all sorts of goodies.  Enjoy!

Now I must get busy here.  It's time to get Tootsie's meds, and see about going to Boston.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Have a great day in Boston. Nice you will meet a friend and be together at the market.
Hahahaha, know what you mean about the "worn"look of new clothes! I am not liking them either.
You'll do well to look into the tablet first before buying it. And may be, if you wait a little longer, it will be cheaper too, who knows!
Have a great day.
Hugs
