Another Beautiful Day Here In Fla Fla

March 14, 2019

Good morning.  It's early and temps are almost up to seventy degrees.  Today will be sunny and 86F degrees.  The weather has been absolutely awesome while we've been here.  It will start to cool down a bit with rain over the weekend, but that's when we go home.

Yesterday, we went back to the flea market so I could exchange one of my new tops for another.  One of my new tops fit okay and one was too small.  For a minute, I didn't think the woman at the stall was going to let me make the exchange but she finally did.  It only cost me a couple dollars extra to make the swap.

This morning, I have photos of a couple of the cute squirrels in the yard here.  Sometimes they will sit and pose for a photo, other times they run and hide.   These two cuties found something good to eat, so I was able to take their pictures.

I also have more photos from our visit to Old Town.  These photos are taken outside, next door to the Black Market Minerals Store.   Some years ago, we could pan for minerals here.  I'm not sure if you still can, but it is quite interesting still.  Beth is reading a plaque about the petrified wood on display.

I had brought a bunch of my tax receipts with me, and last night I sat down and got them all sorted and logged in my notebook.  When I get home, I just have to add them all up.  I'll be glad when tax filing time is over.

Today we may go to the market just to pick up a few items.  After that I think we'll start packing up our mailer boxes so that they can be mailed back to our homes tomorrow.  So there will be no more blog posts from me until next Monday.  Unless I get up extra early tomorrow morning.  We'll just have to wait and see.  Meanwhile, I'll post a few more photos that I would have been posting tomorrow.

Here's a fun photo of Pogo trying to figure out what to do with this piece of orange.  He ended up sniffing it a bit but did not eat it.

There weren't as many birds around here this year, at least not so far.  But I was able to get a photo of this fellow while he was busy calling out to all his friends.

And then, I got some more photos of  a playful squirrel.  I love watching these little guys.  As long as they are not in my attic, they are just fine.

Now I think I'll get dressed and get an early start on today.  So, till either tomorrow or Monday, Y'all have a fantabulous day and weekend.

Hugs, Edna B.

I know you will miss that warm weather when you come home. But it seems to be warming up here too so I think the worst is over. What an adorable picture of Pogo! And those squirrels are cute too. Have a safe trip home!
