Good morning. Tis overcast and 44F degrees, and we're expecting rain for most of today. Pogo and I are staying in today, so that's okay. We went to the bank yesterday, so today I'll pay some bills.
Yesterday, I mentioned that the whole driveway was filled with leaves. I took a photo to show some of the leaves.
When Joe got home from work, he went outside and raked up most all the leaves. This morning they are starting to cover the yard again. Just not as bad as yesterday.
Folks, a few minutes ago, I looked up at my door and saw a small group of turkeys walking through my yard. I grabbed my phone and ran out to the porch to take some photos, and oh my. That small group turned into about twenty turkeys. They headed right for the birdseed that the birds had spilled on to the ground.
Now that's the kind of excitement I like to see around here. I love seeing the wild animals. Pogo was upset because I made him stay indoors while I was outside taking these photos. I didn't want him to scare the turkeys away.
Today, after I'm done with the bills, I think I'll give Pogo a bath before the temps go back down to freezing. Which reminds me, I should have Joe check to see how much fuel oil we have in case I have to order some.
The mailman just came and brought my new social security card. Woo Hoo! Now I can go and get my Read ID license. (driver license renewed) Deanne and I were going to go do this today, but I realized that I needed this new card to bring with me. If I'm late posting Thursday, you'll know that's what I'll be doing.
I'm a happy camper now, so off I go to get a fresh cup of coffee and read a few blogs. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

You are so informed on everything! Being eligible for Medicare as of Dec 1! Waiting on the card. Is it a card or a paper letter? I am never sure what they are up to. Those wild turkeys are a sight to see. Our middle and her hubby are in Boston through Thursday I believe. He has work training and she is going to do some fun things like tour Fenway Park. Oh my dad would get a kick out of that being a life long Yankees fan! But she was excited.
I am not sure what kind of flight they had but they were sitting in an airport in Georgia. Seems an odd flight plan to me!
Our son Jeremy traveled to Boston on several occasions and he took in all the historical sites. He is a history buff so it made sense. Rebekah also has a tour of Salem and taking a ferry there to see the cemetery. It was quite a time in history wasn't it?
Always a pleasure to see you here and at my blog too. Have a great week and snuggle up and stay warm!
Hugs to you and Pogo too.
Anne xoxo
