Just A Few More Hours! Woo Hoo!

October 8, 2018

Good morning and woo hoo!  Today's the day!  Daughter Audrey will be here in a few more hours.  Then we have one whole week together.  Gosh, a week isn't very long, but I'll take every moment of it.  Sadly, two morning appointments and a burner cleanout all fell on the same week, but we'll work around them.

This morning I have to call about my laptop.  I hope I can go and pick it up sometime today.  There are so many things that I need to do on my laptop that just aren't very easy to do on my desk top PC.  Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful that I have this old PC.

Well, I'm done with all my cleaning projects for today.  Today, I just want to enjoy my daughter.  When I finish this post, I will wash and dry one blanket.  I meant to do it yesterday, but I just did not get to it.

Last night, I did finish the newest dolly dress.  This one is Lime Green and Paradise Sunset.  The green isn't quite as brash as it shows in this photo.  I'll have to check to see if the company still carries this color (Paradise Sunset) because I think I'd like to use it on another dress as the main color.

My scraggly hedge in the photo, behind the dolly, are now much shorter.  Joe trimmed it this weekend.  He could only go so far though because the hedge trimmer stopped working.  So I guess this week, we'll make a trip to Home Depot and buy a new hedge trimmer.

I finally have a photo of my new Fall plant to share.  I took this photo a couple days ago, and now some of the buds have opened.  The colors are just gorgeous!

While I was taking the photo of my plant, I noticed that my hedge has little red berries on it.  Funny, I never noticed that before.  Maybe because the birds would eat them before I saw them?

Folks, I may not get to post here every day this week.  My appointments are both in the morning, and the burner clean out guy will be coming late morning.  Plus, I want to spend most of my time enjoying my daughter.  So don't be alarmed if I don't show up everyday.

Before I leave this morning, I have another fun cartoon to share with you.  I borrowed this one from the web and I just love it!

Now I want to get this blanket into the washing machine, and do a bit of blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, (hopefully) Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Take time to enjoy your company and relax yourself. You are one busy lady. Glad to see you have time to stop by my place.

The veggies you grow yourself taste always soooo much better!
hope I can grow next year also some smaller tomatoe plants, with cherry tomatoes.
Oh, you will have such a good time with audrey this week, time will certainly fly, but you are right to spend all time possible on and with her!!!
Enjoy it to the full.
Have a great day and weekend.
