Good morning. Goodness, I've been having all sorts of problems with my laptop this morning. I finally had to shut it off for a while and then start over. I hope it's not time to be thinking about a new laptop. Change and I don't get along so well, and all the new laptops come with a newer version of Windows than I'm used to using.
I guess it's time to start backing up all my files again. Yesterday I bought some new scrap kits and I don't want to lose them. So I guess that will be a project for today. I did get to play with some of the new kits for a while and made one new quick page. Little by little I'm getting back into my old groove, or at least trying to.
Today I'll post photos of my new plants and my gorgeous orange roses. When I get out to shop, I'm going to pick up a couple more hangers for my new plants. I also want to pick up some petunias to plant in the little kiln by the shed. That always looks so pretty when it is filled with blossoms. So, here are my begonias and roses. Aren't they pretty?
Today the sun is shining and there's a breeze. Temps are a bit warmer so I think Pogo and I can spend some time out on the porch. I still have to finish planting the new bulbs. I'd like to get them finished soon. I also want to get my new rain guage set up outside. Then I'll take a photo of it to share.
One of these days, I need to pick up some stuff to treat the wood on the porch. That will require a trip to Home Depot. Oh my goodness, that's also a chance to look in their fabulous garden center. Hmmm, perhaps I see some petunias coming up really soon?
Well, I'm not going to talk a lot today because I really have a lot of stuff to try to do today, including backing up my files on this machine. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a super day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Good afternoon....If you can remember what date it was working fine, go to restore and restore your system back to that date. I had to do my desk top last month. I have windows 10. If you can remember sometime last year or maybe the year before (not sure) it was free to download. I did download it because I was running windows 7. I waited for my Sis to do it to see what happen and her system was ok after she downloaded the new window 10. It was free and I took advantage of it. I was afraid to do it because it was free. (lol) I love your plants. They are gorgeous. Oh well some of my summertime planting will have to wait because I am having total knee replacement surgery on the 30th of this month. Oh boy, I hope this is the last surgery for a while anyway. Just had hand surgery in October 2016. Have a great day....enjoy those beautiful plants.
Hi Edna, how are you? Lots of beautiful flowers here. They are so cheerful and lovely. I love Home Depot or Lowe's too. Always finding great ideas there. We have lots to accomplish this summer. Lots of my day lilies and forget-me-nots are popping up. My roses will later in the summer, we may have snow in the forecast to which I say, Nooooooooooooo! I will take the rain instead, please and thank you!
Enjoy your day and I know what you mean about those laptops. UGH UGH UGH to all this change and sometime it is so frustrating,
You and Pogo take care and enjoy your nice weather.
HUGS
Ohhh Edna,
Gorgeous Begonias and love love love the color of the roses. So beautiful. I am not sure what is wrong with our plants other than what we discussed with too much rain and now hot humidity and hot days. I haven't seen any pretty plants for sale anywhere and even the herbs are spindly and sickly looking.
My intention was to make a page tonight and update my blog. It is almost 3:00 am so not going to have time to do the blog. I am getting really fuzzy eyed. I want to update it so I plan to do that in the morning while I have my coffee... Well hopefully in the morning. My icemaker is pouring water and leaking down the back of my fridge. Hoping that they can get out here tomorrow. I want them to replace it and not try and fix it. That could take days to get a new part and I will need my ice. Plus the mess has been driving me batty trying to keep it from leaking out of the fridge and onto the floor.
Cisco is sleeping and I am heading that way too. Enjoy your sunshine my friend.. Hugs, Beth and Cisco... xx
Goodness, you have big plans for today LOL.
Your begonia's and roses look wonderful. Heavens, tricky thing to go to Home Depot for the paint! surely you will give in to buy some petuni's or may be there are already fuchsia's? They are so pretty too.
On and off last week was a week of being busy with a new medi/tv box for the tv. Seems we had still a very old one and suddenly I didn't receive any programs anymore. To cut it short, after phoning acouple of times, I got a new box and a a guy to install it.
Good I had the guy(it was free of charge), seemd our connection to cable also wasn;t top anymore, so we got a new. Then there are always problems how to use the damned thing and how all the options work etc. There is a little booklet, but ecplanation to poor. Okay, internet helped a bit to fidn some things and just called the company several times, I was helped really nice and patiently and it seems all is working today again and I am lots further in how all things work. Hoorray.
Still a shame you need to call in several times. Perhaps it is just me and also Jan, who don;t understand it too good.
never mind, we can watch all the programs we want again, we also can record with the mediabox and watch it later, there is also replay on it(watch a programm till a week old without having to record it) we even have lots of movies and series we can watch free of charge, so this seems all in all a little improvement.
Now only we cannot record anymore on our dvd/recorder. we only cab play dvd's to watch. Pity, but we can get used to it I guess.
Gosh, long comment this time. and more about me then about you I am afraid.
Hope you had a good day and that the weather was good enough to spend some time on the porch.
I am making chili con carneor something that looks and hopefully tastes like it, hahaha, always make things a bit my version.
Sending a big hug
Kyra
