Good morning. Tis a bit nippy this morning. Only 44F degrees, but at least the sun is shining. The weather man says it will warm up later today to about 58F degrees. Gosh, I hope so. I hope the contractor shows up too, and finishes the work before I have to leave at 4 p.m.
I was able to cancel and reschedule my appointment with the eye doctor, but I cannot do the same with my appointment this afternoon at the shooting range. Nor do I want to change my appointment. It will be another week and a half before my next appointment. Since our instructor has opened his new gun store, his time at the range is limited.
Yesterday afternoon, I spent some fun time at my laptop making some new quick pages. When I'm having fun, the time really flies by, and the next thing I knew it was late afternoon, and my DIL Janet was here to pick up her cell phone that she had left the night before.
This morning I need to get outside and move things around on my porch so that they don't get in the contractor's way. I haven't done this already because if the guy does not show up, then I'll have done it all for nothing.
Today I have a fun email sales ad to share with you. I got this in my mail the day before yesterday.
Did you catch what was so funny? Check out the dates! These arrived in my email on October 12th. Either my computer is more than a little slow, or someone does not proof read their employees' work before sending it on to the public. I mean, my computer is a bit slow....but really!
Now I'm going to have to get going and start moving things on the porch. So, till Sunday, Y'all have a wonderful weekend.

How funny... I have received emails on things that the sale ended before it began. I wonder if they caught the blooper?
We woke up to heavy fog and rain. What a lovely day tho to actually see some real rain for a change. We better enjoy the weather that we have now because next week we are supposed to be back up in the 103 and 104 temps. I was hoping that those days were behind us for a while.
So my oven is not working. I sent a message to Jon to call in a work order and he put it off for me to do claiming he is swamped at work. I don't want to call it in but seeing as I am the one that is going to make Baked Chicken and Rice tonight I better do it.... so hugs to all....... Love, Beth and Cisco.... (P.S.) It should be time the contractor shows up and on time, because it is not funny to reschedule other appointments, just because of him.
That advertisement is funny, and a real blooper. But bloopers can bring a smile on your face hey?
I was much better yesterday and was quite a busy bee. In the afternoon I did a quick grocery shopping and then took a moment of rest and then I was in the kitchen, baking a "pirog"( kind of Russian meatpie). It isn;t very complicated but just asks time because the dough has to rise 3 times. I rather enjoyed making this pie again and today we will have a piece of it with some soup I will make. Easy but still nourrishing dinner and quick for a Saturday evening LOL.
