This morning is very cold and everything is covered in white again. Not that the last snow ever left. We still have large mounds of the last snow, and yesterday and last night gave us a few more inches to top it off. Goodie Goodie!!

Yesterday was a nice lazy day here for me. Around lunchtime, Tootsie and I went back to bed and had a nice long nap. Then, in the afternoon, I had a wonderful phone conversation with my friend Su. We discussed her colors and ideas for the February kit, which is looking like another "must have" kit. That's all I can tell you right now.

Tomorrow, we will begin posting our new kit for January. "A Merry Berry New Year" is a bit different for a New Year's kit. Sort of Victorian with really yummy colors. I hope you all are enjoying these monthly kits, because Su and I are having a grand time putting them together.

This month's weekly freebie kit at Magickal Scraps forum is called "Enchanted Winter." The theme and colors are authored by Kyra, and it's just perfect for all your winter memories. The current offering, Week Two, is my contribution. It's a QP that I made using a photo of the trees in my yard heavily laden with snow. Here is a peek at my QP, which you can pick it up at Magickal Scraps forum.

At work this past Friday, I was able to get quite a few photos of the local birds. I don't know if I mentioned before, but most all of the bird photos that I take at work are taken indoors through windows. However, I think they still come out pretty good. Today's "Friday Bird" is a Northern Cardinal. I think this is one gorgeous bird!!

I have more photos of my "Friday Birds" and I'll post them a couple a day. Now I think it's time for me to start a load of laundry. Obviously, the first load is always a couple of scatter rugs. Tootsie works very hard at keeping my washing machine busy. I'm off now. Till tomorrow, Y'all stay warm and have a wonderful day.

You;re right -the Cardinal is a beautyful bird!We don't have them here, but I had the pleasure of watching one from the Porch in Jib's Garden while I was there. Fantastic photo, my camera wasn't able to capture the bird like this.
Hugs Snowy
Oh poor dear, snow again! Hopefully it disappears as quickly as it came!
That Cardinal is a beauty! What a colour! Nature still has lots of goodies for us to watch, isn;t it?
Good luck with the laundry LOL!
Have a wonderful day
