Happy Belated Birthday To Jasmine, And Happy Birthday To Kyra

January 8, 2017

Good morning.  The sun is shining, the snow stopped during the night, and it is c-c-c-cold!  I guess Pogo and I won't be going outside to play today.  By the time the snow ended, we probably have a little over a foot of the white stuff.  Yuk!  Yuk!  These photos were taken this morning.  The snow had already been shoveled up yesterday afternoon.  But it just kept on coming!!  The second photo is Joe cleaning it up again.

I am such a scatter brain sometimes.  I did not forget Jazzy's birthday, but I did forget to post it here on my blog.  Shame on me!!  Jazzy turned seventeen on Thursday.  On Friday evening, Jazzy made her debut as assistant director of the South Shore Theatre Works production of "Big Bad - The Musical."  She even choreographed one of the dance numbers.  I am so very proud of our Jasmine!

Here's a collage her mom (Deanne) put together of Jazzy, and a photo of Jazzy and Janice after the Friday night performance of "Big Bad - The Musical."  There's one more performance of the play this afternoon.   Then Jazzy is on to her next drama project.

Today is my friend Kyra's birthday.  Kyra, I hope your special day is awesome, and I'm wishing you many more years of happiness and good health.  I am so blessed to have you as my friend.

Deanne and I never made it to the shooting range on Friday afternoon.  The instructor wasn't sure if the roads were plowed, so we re-scheduled for next Friday afternoon.  Gosh, I hope it doesn't snow anymore and mess up this next appointment!!

The link for Part One of the kit, "A Merry Berry New Year" did not work, so I made a new link for you.  If this one is a problem, let me know and I'll make a new folder and link.

Expired

I just took a short break from typing to go outside and sweep the little bit of snow off the porch in front of my door and from off the step.  It was just a little bit of snow, but it took all my breath away.  Just one of the reasons why I don't like the snow.

Ah well, there's a Law & Order marathon on TV today, so I'm going to take my coffee and go watch a bit of it.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

We ha snow overnight too, but not as much as you had. It is fiercely cold though. Yesterday and today (Sunday) my aide came in bundied and shivering. The first thing I asked her to do both days was to make a couple cups of coffee. (She/s the newer of my 2 regular aides and I'm so glad she's comfortable enough to share a cup of coffee with me during the first part of her shift here!)

Jazzy is so buzy! The photos look great. Happy birthday to her. I though you always wished her happy birthday a day late for a little extra in her card anyway. Did I remember that right? Is she planning on pursuing theater? You're not so far from Broadway... :)

birthday wishes to Kyra too!

I hope the weather just sorts itself out. It's been single digit highs one day and the 40s the next since mid December here. I think its been as bouncy-crazy there too. Not good for being healthy.

Keep you and Pogo warm.
Hugs, Nani

Thanks for the birthdaywishes here too!

Give my best wishes to Jazzy. she is doing fantastic in theatre, isn;t she? Now being assisatent director and also making a choreography, that h=girl has lots of talents.
Pity you couldn;t make it to the shooting range, but better to stay home and not take the chance of riding through snow
You really have quite some snowfall now. we are having rain now. Also not so great, but better than snow I guess.
I will do some blogreading and later today have to think of what making for dinner.
Oh, also have to post a card for a friend who will have her birthday in a couple of days.
You have a lovely day, stay inside and stay warm.
Hug
Kyra

Edna,

I can't believe that I forgot to stop by yesterday. Well maybe I can as my brain hasn't really been in the right frame of mind yesterday or today.

Those girls are just so pretty and Jasmine is so talented. I can see her having a career on Broadway or as directing or something fabulous with the Entertainment industry. She is beautiful, talented and I can tell that she has a wonderful personality.
Happy Late Birthday to Jasmine.
I wished Kyra a Happy Birthday but it never hurts to wish it again! Happy Birthday Again to Kyra.

I will go for now and read todays blog post! Hugs, Beth

Happy Birthday to Jasmine and Kyra! I think I first discovered "With A Russian Dutch Heart" here in your blog. What beautiful creations I found there! So thanks to both of you for your generosity, creative efforts and interesting blogs.
