Good morning and Happy May Day. When I was young, this was a day for dancing around May Poles, and delivering baskets of flowers to shut ins and older folks. Through the years, we seem to have lost this fun holiday.
It's only 5 am and it's still dark outside, but the birds are already chirping and calling to each other. I don't know about you, but I love listening to the sound of birds. It is such a restful and happy sound. Which reminds me, I have some new little bird houses to hang when I get home later this morning. I also want to put up the squirrel feeder. Maybe then the squirrels will leave the bird food alone. You think?
Today the GI May Blog Train leaves the station with lots and lots of fantastic scraps for you. The list always stays up for at least two weeks, so you will have time to get them all. Remember to take a moment to say thank you whenever you download. Here is my offering, followed by the complete list. Enjoy!!
Here's the download link for my part:
Day is breaking, and all of a sudden the birds are not chirping. Hmmmm. I wonder what's going on outside. Maybe a hawk is nearby? I'll have to look around when the sky is a little brighter.
That's all for this morning. I'm still at work, and it's time to look in on the Mrs. Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Edna B.
