Oh What A Beautiful Moon

February 20, 2019

Good morning.  It's six o'clock and I feel like I've been up for hours.  Sadly, I fell asleep very early last night and when I woke up around one thirty in the morning, I was wide awake.  Pogo woke up too so we played for a while.  Around four thirty, I remembered about the moon.  So I put my coat on and grabbed my camera and went out on the porch to photograph the moon.

Well, I tried.  Sad to say, the battery in my camera was dead.  And my two spares were dead too.  So I plugged one of them on the charger for a while, long enough to get enough of a charge to be able to use the camera.  Around five o'clock, I went back outside to take some photos.

It was cold!  Only thirteen degrees.  I took a few quick photos and came right back indoors.  I did manage to get a couple photos that I can share.

That's the best I could do considering it was too cold to stay out very long.  Plus it was dark and I couldn't read the settings on my camera.  So I set it on Auto before going outside and hoped for the best.

Well, yesterday I finally bit the bullet and dug out all my tax stuff and sorted everything into piles.  Then I had a nice visit with my daughter Deanne.  While she was here, she took care of the weather app on my phone.  Now I can look up the weather again.  PLUS, she brought me a plate of lasagna.  You know I ate that for my supper.  Yum yum!

Today I will start making columns (of house expenses) and then totaling everything.  I will get to use my new calculator that I bought last winter especially for my taxes.  I like the kind that has a roll of paper on it so that I can easily check for mistakes.  Digital just does not work for me.

I may even set aside a couple hours to play on my laptop.  I'd like to make a few more quick pages, at least enough for a couple of weeks.  Next week I have so much to do.  It's time to get out the suitcase and start packing it.  I also have to practice packing my carry on bag in order to make sure it's not too heavy.  I have to keep the extra battery for my portable oxygen in my carry on or the airline won't let me use my oxygen on the plane.

Today I have a new quick page for you.  This one is a bit whimsical.  Even all our little critters are looking forward to Spring and its warmer temps.

Here is your download link:

It would be nice if I had an extra plug (for charging the oxygen) an an extra plug that goes in the car.  I doubt if Lincare (the oxygen supplier) would give me these extra plugs.  I'll go online later to see if they can be purchased.

My little telephone/address book is getting quite shabby.  I did buy a new one, so I think I'll pack both books and maybe transfer everything over to the new book while I'm on vacation.

Pogo is starting to make "I'm hungry" noises so I guess it's time for me to get busy and feed my little guy.   So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh I do love seeing your pics of the moon. I didn't forget about it but it was drizzling rain here. I was really sad to miss it so your pics brought delight to my eyes. Hopefully we will get to see the International Space Station while we are in Florida. It would really be spectacular if it was stationary but not this time. It will fly right over us tho.

It is super late here. I will be going to bed soon but wanted to stop in and say hello.
Thank you for the QP it is delightful and along with the critters I am looking forward to spring too...
Hugs to you my friend and for our little boy. I can't wait to see you in just a few more days! Love, Beth
