I Can Get Crazy When I Have To

May 18, 2016

Good morning.  It's another beautiful day here in my little part of New England.  The sun is shining, and my little birds are chirping that they need more seed in their feeder.  As soon as I finish posting, I will tend to the bird feeder.

Yesterday, life happened and SIL Eddie could not come by.  No biggie.  I kept busy putting things away and packing up a big box of new clothes for my daughter Laura Jean.  I'm only about half done with her shopping though.  This week I'll pick out some new sweat shirts and pants in lots of pretty colors.  She has hypothermia, and these will keep her nice and warm on the cooler days.

I need to call Aunt Lucy today and let her know that Eddie and I will be picking her up tomorrow to go out for lunch.  While Lucy and I were chatting on the phone last night, she wanted to know if I'd like to meet up for lunch one day.  Yes, Aunt Lucy, I'd love to.

Eddie is coming by this morning.  I don't know if he already bought the new bathroom sink, or if we are going shopping for it.  Either way is okay with me.  I'm easy to please.  (most of the time)

Yesterday was a bit uneasy with one of the dwarfs.  He had turned on the faucet in the kitchen sink and walked away.  When I questioned why the water was running, he said it was so the grease would not clog up the drain.  What????  I told him that in no uncertain terms was anyone to be putting grease down the drains.  He could not understand why and was pretty upset with me for scolding him.  This is a middle aged man who should know better.  Finally, I told him he would do things my way or find a new place to live.  It's that simple.

Today I have a new quick page for you.  This one features Toto and Zlata, two of my favorite scrap characters.  I hope you can use it.

Here is your download link:

I borrowed an image from the web of a super tee shirt for doggie moms.  Boy, this describes me to a "T".

Well now I must get dressed and start the breakfast dishes.  If I have to go shopping with Eddie, I can't go in my jammies.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna,

I cannot understand why people would pour grease down the drains of their sinks! Good for you to scold as you would be the one stuck with the plumbing bill.

Thank you for the quick page. Very Unique and I love the characters too. I have a character that is bundled up in the comforter. Cisco decided to hang out with the boys last night but sometime during the night someone let him into my room. For once he managed to crawl under the cover and next to me without waking me up to pull the cover back for him. I knew he could do it! LOL.

Yes life happens and I can understand that Eddie was busy. Such wonderful news that your going out to lunch with your Aunt Lucy! That will be fun. I have all of my regular stuff to do today and then I think that I will color. I have some new markers so that should be interesting to see how they work.
Take care and give Pogo lots of love from me and take care! Beth and Cisco

I think your dwarf was probably surprised that you were upset. Not because of the grease but just because you don't often get upset. Guessing.
Maybe he lived somewhere where you do that when you have the disposal. Even then I wouldn't.
Our daughter flushed a tempo, maybe more than one, and the drain backed up in the shower. Also same item at a different house, probably over a few months ended up costing $4,000 and about ten hours of work and back hoes ant etc. it clogged where the house sewer pipes hooked with the city.
Educated people? Why do they do that? It's not okay.

Oops, the dwarf certainly will remember now bot to put any grease in your sink anymore LOL1 But I understand you, it isn;t okay and should the drain be stuck, you can pay the plumber.
Perhaps a good thing life happened to Eddie, so you could pack up some things to get out of the way once Eddie will install the sink.
And you had all the time for it now, as also for the box of clothes for your daughter.
Sounds super that you have a lunch appointment with Aunt Lucy.
Have a great time all together in meeting up.
