The Sun Is Playing Peek-A-Boo Today

May 4, 2016

Good morning.  Tis another cloudy day here.  It's a little bit bright, so maybe we'll get to see a speck of sunshine today.  The weather man says we're going to have more rain.  At least it's not too cool.  The temperature is currently 51F degrees.  We'll just have to wait and see what the day brings.

Today Pogo and I are planning to go shopping at Ocean State Job Lot.  We need to pick up some birdseed.  Oh my, as I type the sun has peeked through the clouds.  It was only for a few seconds, but at least I know it is trying.

I also want to pick up some planting soil and a couple of large planters.  Maybe we can also take a trip to Lowes or Home Depot.  Hmmm, it already sounds like a fun day.  I'm hoping to plant a few new bulbs this weekend.  These beautiful Lollypop lilies were a gift from Kyra, and I can't wait to see them bloom.

Pogo isn't too interested in breakfast this morning.  Do you suppose it has anything to do with the fact that he got me up at 3 a.m. to make him a snack?  Once his little belly was full up with hamburger, he went back to bed and right off to dreamland.  The sound of him snoring softly is music to my ears.

Today I have another quick page for you.  This one might be pretty for some of your Mother's Day photos.  Enjoy.

Now I think I'll get dressed and ready to head on out.  Pogo is itching to go for a ride in the car, and I'm looking forward to some fun shopping.   So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Edna,
A gorgeous quick page. Thank You very much. I love the flower packet that Kyra sent to you. Wow those will certainly perk up your garden in a beautiful spot. I hope that they do well.
It is nice and cool here this evening. I slept most of the afternoon away with some much needed sleep and now it is almost time for dinner. Jonathan is cooking tonight. Can't wait to see and taste his meal. Much love, Beth

Sounds a rather fun shopping tour. Shopping for garden stuff always is nice and can be quite relaxing.
Oh, I do hope the bulbs I sent you will do well.
I have some lilies too, in the garden. In a pot and in winter I cut them back(when leaves and stem are dried and brown) and put them in the shed.
seems a good way to treat them.
We'll see if we go out today, I do hope there will be a fleemarket somewhere that's always fun, but not sure. Oh well, just the wak will do us good I supose LOL.
Have a fantastic day.
Hug
Kyra

Pogo is one spoiled little doggy. And here I thought I was the only one up at odd hours feeding their furry friends. I've learned when George starts in with his nudging that he won't stop until I go and see to his needs. They really have our number, don't they.
