Good morning. The sun is shining, but the air is crisp and nippy. Right now, it is only 47F and hopefully will work its way up to 53F. Tonight, though, is going to be downright frosty - only 31F. I'm so thankful that Pogo and I have nice warm beds to sleep in.
Speaking of "nice warm beds," I took these photos of Pogo last evening. After scrunching all the blankets till they were "just right" he curls up and goes to sleep. In the second photo, he heard me taking the photos, and looked up at me, then he went right back to sleep.
Isn't he just the cutest little guy in his Christmas jammies? We don't save these jammies only for Christmas. He wears them whenever it gets cold. I'll have to pick him up some more of these. I did order a few pair a while back, but had to return them because they did not fit. He's put on a lot of weight since I've had him. He used to weigh three and a half pounds, and now he weights six pounds. That's what good food and lots of lovin' can do to you!!
I have to share something funny with you. The other day while I was straightening out the bedroom, I decided to put all his fuzzy blankets into a plastic blanket bag. Hmmm, guess what? They did not fit. It took three blanket bags to store most of Pogo's fuzzy blankets. I will have to pick up a couple more bags for the rest of his blankets. I think before I get him any more blankets, we'll have to give a few of them away.
Gosh, I'm watching videos on TV of the flooding in Texas. They are showing the rescue of a man and his puppy from a pick up truck that was caught in the flooding. The cab of the truck was almost totally filled with water when the rescuers got to them. They said that the man had been holding his puppy up high near the roof of the cab to keep him from drowning. Oh gosh, this is so sad. Let's all pray that all the folks in the flood areas stay safe.
Well, that's my news for this morning. Before I go, here's another Halloween QP. These really are fun to make. I hope you like this one.

This morning, I got a couple of super nice surprises in my email, but I'll save them for tomorrow's post. I'll just say that they put a huge smile on my face!!
Now I'm off to do a bit of blog reading. So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Edna B.

I can totally relate. The cats have more beds and things than we do. But it's so much fun spoiling our little buddies, I know I can't stop myself and I'm sure you're the same way.
Edna,
The flooding has been terrible here. Not so much Austin where I live now but back home and East Texas. I was watching a video of the dam that we had built back in 1983-84 and they had to open the gates for the 2nd time in all these 30 some odd years. Now I know where all that water will go and will only add to the farmers plight. Most all of that land is farmland. So sad to see the destruction and brings back memories of my own flood experience.
The wind is still blowing like crazy here. A tree fell and toppled over onto a car in our apartment complex. The tree tho belonged to the apartment complex behind us.
It is time for my meds so I will say goodbye for now... Love, Beth and Cisco.
Your little guy is just the cutest! love his jammies! wish my Kobi would stay still, but I guess she is warm enough, and we don't have nearly the tempatures you do. we are still in the 80's yet. thanks for the awesome page! My brother lives near Houston, and thank God his home hasn't been damaged!
Pogo looks so cute in his pile of fuzzy blankets!
It's looking to be a goo day today here. They said we will have temperatures around 64F, which is high this time of year. And i see already the sun shining so I should go out today, just because of the weather LOL. No idea if I will, but may be it's a good day for some Christmas shopping. Time goes so fast now, before I know it will be time to send away the box.
I lve that witch on your quickpage, she is sooo funny. Wonderful.
Well, if I do want to go to towncentre, I better start my day early, meaning not t be for too long at the computer and get dressed and leave still in the morning LL!
You have a fantastic day!
Hugs

Pogo's jammies are adorable!
The flooding in Texas is just heartbreaking. We're uphill from the big river where we are, but still, even seeing calm water washed over a road and places it doesn't belong is ominous. fast moving deep water is just awful.
Our kids like their blankets too. Their kitty-afghans my grandma made for Azreal and Kaline are in the front window for their lounging pleasure. They make a sweet picture from the street - I've been told that from trick or treaters' parents and the older kids through the years because they mention we're the house with the cats in the window that they see from the road.
Wel, after stopping to read THIS post to catch up, I'm off to red today. :)
Hugs, Nani
