Good morning. It's a bit on the cloudy side, but the sun is doing its best to keep shining down on us. The temps are supposed to be around 78 - 80 degrees. Sounds good to me.
I am at work and the Mrs is still asleep. I slipped outside around 6 am to take a photo of the gorgeous big moon that was still visibile.
Then I took a photo of the clouds not too far away from the moon. You really have to take a few different photos because the clouds move so quickly and everything changes. Aren't these pretty?
I thought this might make a nice texture, so I desaturated the photo, then I cropped it. Next, I colored it , applied a bit of the "wavy" filter and a blend mode in Photoshop, then applied my new texture to a photo of tree branches. Not bad.

The moon sure is pretty right now. Those clouds are really nice and I like the way you altered them for a texture. They look great over the tree leaves. You have a good day, I think the rain is stopped here today so we'll get out and see Ottawa today.
Your temperature is still nice ... we are back to hot and muggy and next week it is supposed to be hotter and muggier. I guess we have to pay a price for having a week of the 70's in mid August. I have to say it was nice while it lasted.
I loved the picture of the dragon fly yesterday ... the lines are very artsy and the lighting is perfect. Nice job, Edna.
Today is Hubby's Birthday and I have ribs in the oven. I will grill them this evening ... I always precook them so they won't burn before they are cooked to well done. Hubby likes them falling off the bone and since it is pork I always make sure it is well done.
Izzi has been anxious lately. I think I told you I put her on medication and she seems to be calming down. The new neighbors haven't been around (I think they went on a vacation)so that helps too. Izzi has too many bad memories of the last neighbors and thier unruly dogs who always bullied her. I think she will settle down in time.
Better get going. I need to start exploring my water theme for PAF ... that time is coming up very quickly. You get some rest after your long work day/night. Hugs to Pogo ...

Great you have almost always some time to get outside when you are at the Mrs and are able to take a few great shots.
The leaves with the texture and kind of fantasy color look good!
We are planning to have a rather quiet day today, might we just take a short visit to the market, where I can buy fresh shrimps for this evening. Yummie!
