Here Possum, Possum!

It's early, and no I;m not at work.  I set my clock early so that I would have time to post my blog and enjoy a cup of java before I go to my doctor appointment this morning.   I'm hoping that the doctor can help me with that mess on my leg.  It keeps spreading and is itcy as ever.

There's a new commercial on TV that I absolutely love.  I think it's a Geico ad.  It starts with a man saying that his kids want a dog, but it's so expensive.  Instead, he buys them a possum (which is much less expensive).  After staring at the possum for quite a while, the kids tell their Dad that maybe the possum is dead.  Dad says "No, it's just playing possum."  In another moment or two, the possum springs up and hisses at the kids.

For some silly reason, this ad tickles the funny bone.  When you consider all the really miserable commerials that are on TV lately, it's such a treat to see one with so much creativity and imagination.

Yesterday's exercise session went well, and I managed to walk more than a mile with the combined exercises.  And what's great is that I don't wake up sore the next day.  I brought my camera along with me and we took some photos.  I pieced together three shots to make this picture.  We're all having a good workout! 

I was going through some photos and came across this one that I took early one morning last September.  It was such a peaceful scene, and I thought I would share it with you.

And here's another photo of a dragonfly that I took a week or so ago.  I really enjoy trying to photograph these critters.  They are so quick, and not always easy to get close to.  This one was at work near the Mrs' back patio.

Now I really must get going here and finish my coffee and get dressed.  Before you know it, it will be time for me to leave for my appointment and I'll still be sitting here in my nitie.  Nope, that just won't do!  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fabulous day.
