It's a beautiful morning here in my little part of the world. The sun is shining and the birds are singing. It's not too hot at the moment, but later today it's supposed to hit the low 80's.
Deanne sent me some new photos that she took (on her phone) at Jazzy's award ceremony the other night. This is my youngest great granddaughter Lilah and my youngest grand daughter Jasmine.
Deanne also shared some wonderful news about Jazzy's brother, Koolaid. Last night, he umpired (and got paid for) his very first baseball game. Way to go Kevin! Is it any wonder why I'm so proud of these kids?
Yesterday at work, I tried taking photos of the hummingbirds. Mind you, I take these photos through the living room window which needs a cleaning and has all sorts of reflections on it. I also have to hide behind the draperies so that the birds don't see me. They have very sharp eyesight and fly away the minute they see me or my camera.
As you can see, the sun was shining really bright outside the window. I got a few more photos, but I'll share them another day. Right now, I need to get dressed and get the laundry started. Tonight I'm back to my night shifts.
Tootsie's appetite has picked up a little bit these last couple of days. Thursday night I cooked us a london broil steak which Tootsie just loved, and we had the left overs last night. I wonder what I can find to tempt her taste buds today.
That's all the news for this morning. Till tomorrow, Y'all have a beautiful day.
Hugs, Edna B.
