Another Beautiful Day

February 17, 2016

Good morning.  It's looking like another beautiful day outside my window.  The sun is shining and it is 37F degrees, headed for the mid 40's.  Not quite as warm as yesterday, but still very nice.  During the extreme cold temps lately, we used up most of our fuel supply trying to keep the house heated.  Today I will have to call the fuel company to arrange another delivery for tomorrow.

Yesterday, Pogo and I had a great time being out.  Although I will say that Pogo was not exactly thrilled about having to go to the salon.  Today I will try to get some new photos of my handsome little guy.  This will be challenging because when he sees the camera (or the cell phone) he turns his head away.

We went to town hall so that I could vote on an absentee ballot.  The voting will take place shortly after I get to Florida.  While we were there, we got a new license tag for Pogo and turned in our census papers.

While Pogo was at the salon, I was able to meander through a local discount store, where I found new curtains for my living room and a new rug for my bathroom.  I picked up a few other small items, as well as a gift to put away for next Christmas.

All this time, I totally forgot to reserve a rental car to use while in Florida, so today I'll have to do that today.  I don't know why I waited so long to do this, but it needs to done right away so I don't end up walking from the airport.  (NOT HAPPENING!)

Oh boy, I just took a break to call the car rental agency to book my car, and after being hung up on four different times, I finally looked the company up on Google.  Surprise, surprise.  There is a new phone number.  I called it only to find that the lady I usually work with to arrange for my car won't be in for a few days.  I left my home phone number and asked if she could call me.   Hopefully, she will call me back today.

Now I think it's time for me to get busy and do a few things around here.  First, let me post your QP for this week.  Perhaps you can use it to scrap some fun photos from Valentine's Day.

Now I'm off to see what sort of fun mischief I can get into today.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Edna,

Great QP and thank you. I did not take any Valentine Photo's this year. I don't know why I didn't. I guess that I am getting more forgetful than I like to think.

Did I tell you that I am now a redhead? LOL... I kind of like it. I am still getting use to it. It really isn't that drastic. I will take some pics later on and post on my blog. I want to take a shower and maybe put on a little make up etc...

News here is brief as usual. Trying to decide what to make for dinner. One wants a chef salad and the other wants homemade hamburgers and I want tacos so.... I am thinking that who ever cooks dinner tonight gets to choose. I don't want to cook tonight. In fact I could easily just have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a bowl of cereal tonight. I've done laundry and dishes and straightened out the pantry, swept and dusted and so cooking is the last thing on my mind.

In fact I am seriously thinking of a nap with Cisco. He has been extra needy the last few days so I will cuddle with him. I bet Pogo looks cute with his new hair cut. Maybe you can get some good pics of him. I don't know how they know when to avoid the cameras and phones, but they do. Cisco too! Love to the both of you.... Love, Beth and Cisco

Wow, you had a few days of lovely temperatures and you were right to take advantage of it.
Sure Pogo look even more handsome now that he had his haircut!
Wee, don;t forget about your car in Florida. Hopefully the lady will phone you back shortly.
Isn;t it great to see that snow melts, even if it gives large poodles for a while?
If all is right this night will be about the last night with some frost and then temperatures will go up to about 10C yippee.
Must say that at daytime we have some degrees above zero, and little wind and sunshine, so then it is also nice to be out for a moment.
Oh, I hope the little hooks will hold on your walls, but yes they are fun, hey? Just hang on them light things, is best.
Have a wonderful day,
Hug
Kyra
