Depressing Weather This Morning

June 4, 2012

Yuk, yuk, yuk.  It is really quite raw outside this morning.  It sorta feels like late March.  I'm thinking that Mother Nature could use a few steroids to get her back on track.  It was gray, 52 degrees and  raining when I came home from work this morning.  Something tells me that this will be a great morning to catch a nap.

Folks, I know this is the week we usually post the first two parts of the new monthly collab kit.  But Su hasn't been feeling so good and I'm not sure if she's ready to post.  So, this morning I whipped up a freebie QP for you and I'll be posting the first parts of the collab kit either tomorrow or next Monday.  I will have to let you know more later.

This QP is a little different.  It's purple plaid with a bit of whimsy.  I hope you can use it.

Eddie came by yesterday to bring my phone back.  It's working okay, but I'm still going to be buying me a different new phone.  A lot of folks have put many hours into keeping this phone working correctly, and it shouldn't be that way.  It's really sad because the phone comes with just about unlimited everything, a decent camera, a great GPS and a very affordable price per month.   It's going to be hard to beat all that, but I'm working at it.

Venus is supposed to be visible while crossing the sun tomorrow evening, but with all the rain and clouds, I doubt if I'll be able to see it.  It would be nice though, because I won't be around the next this happens.  (In the year 2117)

That's all my news for this morning.  It's time to give Tootsie her meds, and rustle up something to eat.  Then we'll treat ourselves to a glorious nap.  Till tomorrow, Y'all stay dry, and have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Golly Edna, I hope that was a typo! 2017 is only 5 years away!!

I haven't been online a lot since I was in Indiana. It was a fabulous long weekend with my honors graduates! :)

Our kitty-kids would love a hanging feeder for the chipmunk!!

I love your rain drop photos, but you know that because I always tell you!

I had suspicions about a critter eating my bulbs too, but it's worse now! My dad brought 2 tomato plants and 2 pepper plants that he and David planted Thursday before I left for Indiana. David joined us on Saturday and at some time between then and coming home yesterday something ate them all! No veggie plant left. I had such great plans for them too.

Noe I'm off to download your lovely quick pages! You've been very generous while I've been gone!! ")

Hugs, Nani

Here cloudy and rainy too yesterday.
Around 5.00 afternoon the sun came through a bit, but it still was rather "fresh"outside.
Today looks a little bit better, perhaps good time to go out for some grocerie shopping.
Enjoy your nap, and have a lovely day.
Hug
Kyra
