One Last Goodbye

October 27, 2010
*
It's rainy and gray here this morning, so let's hope the weatherman is right. He says that tomorrow will be an absolutely beautiful day. That is when we will all be traveling to the Veterans Cemetery at Bourne, MA for Moo's funeral service.
*
We've all been very busy here getting all the last minute things done. Clothes, flowers, photo boards, etc. The funeral director has given me permission to bring Miss Tootsie because she was an important part of my brother's life. I will bring her stroller so that she will not be accidentally stepped on.
*
There will be no blog post tomorrow, but I will be back again on Friday. Today, I will share the photo boards that I made up. Till Friday, Y'all have a marvelous day.
*
Hugs, Edna B.

Your photo boards are lovely ! Say to Artie I am thinking of him and tomorrow I will light another candle for him.
Take care Edna, and after all this is over you should take some days for yourself to have some rest and calming down.
My thoughts are with you!
Big hug
Kyra

Men Will Be Boys

I'm so sorry that I haven't had much computer time the past couple weeks, or I would have left a comment sooner. I snapped a little at David because he was asking what I was reading that was important enough to ignore the World Series. Well, prayers and wishes for you are definitely more important than the World Series.

The photo boards are beautiful, Edna. I know the hole in my heart where John lived when he was with us is starting to fill in with happy memories, but a small part will always be empty. I hope the memories fill that space for Artie in your heart soon. Sending prayers and good thoughts for strength and healing for you and everyone Moo touched.
