Good morning. It's not quite six o'clock and it is still dark outside. The temperature is 39 F degrees, and we might just make it into the low forties later today. It's also raining. Lightly. This is supposed to clear up by noon.
I've been up for a while, keeping busy doing lots of little nothings. I sorted the items in a package that came yesterday. All but one item is a gift that needs to be wrapped and tagged. I think I'll get that done after I finish this post.
I did work on my new Christmas card the other day, but I ran into a few snags with Photoshop Cloud. It's totally different than the older version, and I don't know my way around it good enough to make the things that I need to make. I may have to call my friend Mary Ann to help me or I might not have a new Christmas card this year.
Danielle Steele is one of my favorite authors, but I haven't read any of her new books in the last few years. So, I read her book "Legacy" this past weekend. As usual, it was very enjoyable. If you like researching family histories, you'll love this book.
I'm beginning to run low on novels now. Pretty soon, I'll have to make a trip to the library and take out a few books to read. I have a lot of self help books, but they can't take the place of a good novel.
Last night I picked up my crocheting and put a couple more rows on the pink afghan. If I do this every other day or so, this afghan will eventually get finished. I'm wanting to start the red and black afghan, but first I need to finish this pink one.
I had the orange blanket rolled up into a large ball and set on the end of the sofa. When I looked around for Pogo, I'm sure you can guess where I found him. Yup, curled up beneath the blanket.
My little Pogo is happiest when he is curled up beneath warm fuzzy blankets. I wonder why it is that doggies love to crawl under these fuzzy blankets and go to sleep. I know it's warm beneath these blankets, but how to the doggies breathe? My little Pogo sticks his nose into the blanket and goes to sleep that way.
Well, it's time to make a hot cup of coffee and get started wrapping these gifts. So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay warm and have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Olga does the same -- buries herself deep beneath all the blankets on the bed. I don't know how she breathes! Dogs are so funny.
I have wondered the same thing... how do they breathe?? They find a way and I know that right now Pogo is in love with the warm fuzzy orange blanket.
Call when you can. I tried calling you but figured you must be busy or out and about. I know I will talk with you sometime today or tomorrow... Big hugs to the both of you my sweet dear friend and handsome guy... xxxx
Gift wrapping...you are ahead of me, Edna. I have to get through Thanksgiving to even get into the holiday spirit despite retailers trying to rush it earlier and earlier. I am like Pogo and really like to curl under a warm and fuzzy blanket. We've had the same dreary weather as you have for the past 2 days here in NH.
