Good morning. Today is a bit cooler, but still nice. The sun is shining and my flag is waving in the breeze against a backdrop of new green leaves. Here's a shot of the new leaves. Some folks may find new leaves boring, but I think they are exciting.
Last night, I brought all my plants indoors because the temperature was going to be dropping rather low. This morning, I've put them all back outdoors to enjoy the sun.
Yesterday, I got another beautiful new plant to hang on my porch. A big pot of purple and white pansies. Pansies are one of my favorite flowers.
Kevin, Janicee and their friend Anthony came by for a visit and brought the pansies with them. Folks, one of the perks of growing older is the grandchildren. And, mine are awesome!! And beautiful, too!!!
The kids are planning on coming by tomorrow to rake all the dead leaves out of my gardens. There's a lot of plants coming up beneath all those leaves. This morning, a couple more daffodil blooms have opened, and there are buds on some of my tulips.
I spent some time on my laptop yesterday, and hopefully I'll spend a little time on it today. I'm beginning to enjoy playing with my new scrap kits. This is definitely a good sign. Now if only I could get back to driving my car and walking around a store. Soon, hopefully, soon.
Now I have to watch for the mailman. I have a couple letters to return to him. They were tucked in with my mail. Watching for the mailman is one of the highlights of Pogo's day. For some reason, Pogo loves barking at the mailman. I suppose though, that if you can't bite you have to be really good at barking ferociously in order to protect your home. And Pogo is very good at barking ferociously!
On that note, I'll take my leave. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Hi mom - Kevin's friend's name is Anthony- but I'm sure he won't mind you calling him Andy- love you xo
Hi Edna,
As usual your photos are wonderful and such good photos of the kids and their friend Andy. What a nice surprise to bring you such beautiful pansy's. Oh Edna, I love all flowers and I know that you do too. I am sure that there is not one that we don't like.
I love the new budding leaves. I find them exciting too. I use to watch every year with high anticipation. Ours budded out while we were in Florida so it was nice to see yours. The photo was awesome to see.
I love it that Pogo barks at the mailman. It is probably one of his highlights of his day. Right now Cisco is in my bed with Baby and Chicki. He is holding Baby close to him with an arm thrown over him to keep him from going anywhere I am assuming.
Karyn stopped by yesterday and Cisco met her at the door with Chicki, then dropped him at her feet and raced back to get Baby. She kept saying, that's mine and he would shake his head and snatch his babies and run to the other side of my bed. He thinks that he has a great hiding spot haha. It is really funny how he covers Baby up every night. He doesn't do that with Chicki.
It is late here. I slept really late so I need to get up and do a few things. Hugs to you and Pogo... Love, Beth and Cisco.
You have the most beautiful family - such lovely smiles.
The grandchildren are awesome.
So glad you have them around.
Hahaha, Pogo has good days at the time the mailman comes. Well, i am sure he is very good at barking!
That pot with pansies looks gorgeous.
and good that the police good do something about the noise of the neighbours.
Temps here are low too, just around 10C at daytime and some frost at night, specially in the east and south of our country.
Is a problem for the fruitgrowers there. All the trees have their blossoms and don;t do good with frost ovwer it.
Wonderful though you like playing with some new kits on your laptop. And I am sure you will soon be able to drive your car again and do some grocerie shopping yourself.
Take care.
Hugs
Kyra
