Good morning. Tis a bit gray outside because Mother Nature is watering all the plants that are coming up. It's a good day for crocheting. I have a blue afghan that I need to work on. It will be a Christmas gift for a dear friend I also want to make an orange afghan. I don't need another afghan, but I want an orange one.
When DL Janet came by a couple days ago, she brought me some beautiful purple tulips. I took some photos to share. Notice the white centers? Aren't these pretty?
I also have a photo of the "Painted Desert" hat and scarf set that I had started while in the hospital.
Last night, I finished up the Lemon Yellow set that I've been working on this past week. It's such a bright happy color.
I think I'll pay some bills this morning. Somehow, there is never a shortage of bills needing to be paid. I need to start a new tax info notebook for this year too. Maybe if I start now, I'll be ready early in the year next time.
Have you noticed that I'm not so gabby any more? My concentration doesn't stay on any one thought long enough to get very chatty. Hopefully, this will all change once I am back on my feet.
On that note, I'll take my leave. So, till Sunday, Y'all have an awesome weekend.
Hugs, Edna B.

Hello my friend! Hope you are continuing to improve daily and are back on your hectic schedule very soon! Glad you and Pogo are now able to sit on the porch and enjoy the fresh air...I have had to stop opening my windows for fresh air (and to move the dust bunnies around)because of the horrid allergens coming in. I've not had problems with my asthma for a few years now, but not so this spring! Anyhow, we are experiencing humid days and temps in the mid to upper 80's but with the front supposedly moving our way this evening, we are not to get out of the upper 60's tomorrow...will see if that holds true!
Your hats and scarves are so pretty, the sunshine yellow is my favorite color but the one before it sure is pretty too! Glad you are able to do them. Your tulips are beautiful. Wanted to catch up and say thanks for the awesome gifts lately of the QPs and the rose kit. I am sure to enjoy them. I have been scrapping a lot and reading a lot (3 books this past week...LOL) Now I must go and secure some of my plants if the winds are to kick upwards of 30+ so that all my blooms don't blow off...chat more with you later and again, very happy you are improving daily.
Hugs for you and Pogo from me and the fur babies...(ps have 2 new 6 week old ones outside that are just so adorable, but very skittish)
One day yu are gabby, the other less, but that is mostly because one day there is lots to tell and another not. simple as that, I guess.
The tulips are just lovely!!! Love that color.
Well, on to other blogs to catch up and may be I even manage to make a quick post on mine.
Have a great day and take care!
Hugs
Kyra
