Good morning from gray and soggy New England. It rained all night here. It is warm though. The temp right now is 52F degrees, and will top off around 57 in a couple of hours. Tomorrow will drop back down in to the mid 40's.
After the hustle and bustle of the past few days, I feel sort of flat. I have things to do, but there is no deadline. Ah well, time to get back to that other stuff - (shhh - housework). I don't like to say that word out loud.
I must confess though, I did do a bit of dusting over the weekend. I suppose I could run the vacuum around a bit today. After that, I have some crocheting that needs to be worked on. The "March" baby is due at the very beginning of the month, so I need to finish the baby projects a bit sooner than I had planned. First babies don't always stick to the schedule.
I do believe the sun is coming out. I'm seeing patches of blue with white clouds in the sky and bits of sunny sparkle on autos going by. It's going to be another beautiful day.
I found a really cute picture on the web and borrowed it to share with you. Most folks don't believe that our animals have feelings, but they most certainly do.
On another serious note, here's another image that I borrowed from the web. It speaks volumes. It's me, and a lot of you. Life is short. If there is something or things that we really want to see or do, we should do it now. Tomorrow is not guaranteed, it's a gift.
In the new year, as long as I am healthy enough to get about, Pogo and I are definitely going to go somewhere for a little vacation. I would prefer it be near the ocean, or at least somewhere near lots of birds and flowers. Something to look forward to.
That's about all that's happening around here. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna,
Good Morning. I have a very busy day planned for today so I am not going to be able to get to my blog until later in the evening or even perhaps later tonight before bed like I have been doing, but I received a very AWESOME early Christmas present last night as I was beginning to make dinner. Oh Edna I laughed, I cried, I laughed and cried some more and now even thinking about it I am emotional but in a good way. I will wait and tell you what it was when I do my blog. I don't have time this morning and if it hadn't been so late on your end and having the dinner put on a back burner for about an hour so we didn't eat until after 8:00pm last night I would have called you and told you all about it. Not that you would have been able to understand a word I said thru all my blubbering. Anyway today or tonight's blog post is going to be extra special for me.
I love your little borrowed images from the Net. They do make a lot of joy for me to read and sometimes gives me a pang in my heart! Especially the one where we are running out of time. We should all do the best that we can with the time that we have left here on Earth. I wanted to take a picture of Cisco this morning with me and my new Wheels but he decided that he was going to be a defiant doggie this morning. He knew that I wanted that picture and he was not having it. I might have to put him on Santa's Naughty List if he does not change his mischievous ways.
Barbara spent the night last night and when it came time to go to bed he wouldn't let her in the bed! She could sit on the bed but no way was she crawling under the covers and laying her head on HIS PILLOWS.... But he finally decided that in order to sleep with us then he had to let her in the bed. It was either that or he was going to have to sleep with the boys! LOL. Now don't you think that his name should be added to the naughty list? haha... Oh and I took him outside this morning to start off his day with a potty break. On the way back he stopped at the rose bush. He loves to smell the roses, he really does. He sniffs and sniffs and sneezes and sniffs some more. He loves the roses, but this morning HE took a big bite and tried to eat the rose. I have it in a coffee cup, what is left of the poor thing. If I had known he wanted to eat it I would have not taken him over by the roses. Live and Learn!
So yesterday they delivered my new walker. It is really nice. It is Maroon and has a seat and basket. Front brakes... So I am on my way! Now I can stop if I need to and also it folds up nicely for the bus and travel. Barbara took a picture of me this morning with my new wheels so I will post it later.
It is going to be a good morning. Barbara went to the store for me and is getting me some coffee and creamer of which I ran out of. Barbara and I came up with this great idea of getting up early and heading to the store. That didn't happen. We snoozed right on thru the alarm. Later today she and her aunt are coming over to steam clean my carpets.... I am so happy about that so I am getting a lot of things for an early Christmas... Now if I just had that tree lol... Oh well I have my little ones and they are pretty so I will just be happy with that! I am Blessed regardless.
Time to get moving... I will probably be able to get to my blog earlier than I thought as one of my appointments has been rescheduled. I can't hardly wait to write that post.
Got a little present for Pogo... You will probably laugh. Not sure how Pogo will feel about it tho lol.... Love you Edna... Will talk to you soon! Hugs! Beth and Cisco....
I should vacuum here too, but i'll put it off till i'm done baking, and heck with Kobi, by the next day you won't even notice - LOL. Glad you got some things done, and I hope you and pogo do enjoy a nice vacation.
