Just A Short Hello

July 17, 2014

Good afternoon.  Today's post will be very short.  I slept in as late as possible this morning, but then it was time to get ready for a follow up appointment with my orthopedic doctor.   All is as well as can be, and I'll go back in three months for another follow up visit.

I do have a photo of the last two afghans to share.  I think maybe I'll work on the navy blue one for a while until it's time to go food shopping later this afternoon.

There's not much other news for today, so I'll take my leave.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh my, Edna, I feel like I should be out of breath. I have been running in 50 different directions and trying to post on my blog, but having no time left to comment on others posts which is not how it is supposed to be. It is dinner time and my gang awaits, but I just want to make sure you know I am still around and I do read you every day ... then I start to post a comment and something comes up and off I go a runnin' again. I will sit down and spend some time with you soon ... please be patient, I miss our little conversations.

There are days we do things, but not really worthwhile talking about in a blogpost, well, it diesn;t matter. Just goodyou post a few words, so we know you are allright.
I have those days too!
As long as you are happy with the days past and still are busy with all kind of things, good for you!
Have a wonderful day.

Oh, the afghans are wonderful! I really like that red-white-blue one! We've had days on the cooler side this week, too cool for AC but not cold, so my afghan has been sitting on the loveseat and not keeping me warm. It hasn't been claimed by a cat yet because David got them a cat tower with carpet and infused with catnip; it's on the enclosed porch in the back where they go to be closer to the birds and they pretty much stay there all day now. We'll eventually move the tower inside because when it does get hot again we can't leave the door open for them!

I didn’t leave a comment on that entry, but wow; what a game even though Kevin’s team lost, they both did great to go to that many extra innings. That’s the thing with extra-inning games, even the pros, someone has to lose, but neither team deserves to.

I’m glad the orthopedic doc is satisfied. I guess it gets to a point where we just look for the doctor not to frown before he/she tells us something. I got a rating of “doing what it’s supposed to” in physical therapy last week, meaning I should be allowed to continue PT because it’s working, keeping me from getting worse. My legs won’t get better but the goal is status quo, which we’re achieving. Like I said as long as there’s no frown before they give the results, all is good!

Have a great Saturday and give Pogo a scritch from me!
Hugs, Nani

Just good to see you here. I know how busy we all get and I know I am really bad about missing visits and also missing posting at my blog. I love your afghans. Your posts are always wonderful to read.
