Good morning and Welcome Spring! Old Man Winter has not let go of his control over our weather, but Spring in finally here. With it comes the promise of warmth, green leaves on the trees and colorful blossoms in our gardens. Yes, yes, yes! I am so ready for Spring.
Today is also International Happy Day. So be happy. Smile a lot at everyone you see. Smiles can be super infectious. Try smiling at a stranger and most likely that stranger will smile back at you.
Yesterday morning as I was leaving work, I noticed how big and beautiful the moon was peeking out from behind the trees. Of course, I stopped for a moment to take a few photos.
After feeding Pogo and having my morning coffee, I settled in for a short nap before my doctor appointment. After I got home from my appointment, my "selfie mailer" boxes arrived. Oh boy, oh boy, I love getting packages in the mail even if I packed and mailed them myself!
My new doll and a few things that I bought while on vacation were in these boxes. I can't wait to give Sassy (Dee Dee's little dog) the fabric "sleeper dog house" that Pogo and I got for her. Now she can have her own special place to get away from the cats. Enjoy it Sassy!!
In the afternoon, DIL Janet came by, and we settled in to catch up on the last two weeks of our favorite program "Project Runway". Thank goodness for DVR's. We don't have to miss out on our favorite programs when we can't be home to watch them. Once the program ends, I will put all the episodes on DVD and send them on to Audrey to enjoy.
Today I want to re-arrange the dolls in the display case on the wall to make room for my new doll. I'll take photos when I'm done. I also have a load of laundry waiting to be washed. Did I mention that the dust bunnies have taken over more space? I think I'll have to remove a few of them today too.
Before I get started on today's chores, I have a couple of my yard birdies to share. This first little fellow is looking in my window to let me know that the feeder is getting low on food.
Now it's time to get started on a few things around here. Before you know it, it will be evening and time to settle down to watch this week's episode of my favorite TV program. So till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Welcome home! It’s been such a busy, busy beginning of the week for me that I’m playing catchup with everything!
Your “colorful thing” looks great! No, not just great, gorgeous! (I love purple-blue and green together) At least coming home now things are starting to be sprinish. I think the last of the melting may have happened today, but it was my lazy and rest day so I didn’t go outside. But when the sun was out it was bright and the temperature was above 40, so maybe. Soon you’ll have beautiful New England flowers to match the Florida photos you shared!
It’s good that the manager will upgrade the sofa pillows for you, but too bad they can’t arrange to a foldout or something. They make fold out sofas with better mattresses than they used to. That also adds to the value of the condo. :)
I love you “photos to make us smile” especially the squirrely drinking from the straw. Marco has been trying to figure out how to turn a doorknob. So smart that he gets the concept, but I think we’re safe from it working for him without thumbs.
I love the indoor flowering plants! We ave one that flowers that actually is flowering right now! It must like the cat-water. David puts the leftover water from the cat bowls in the plants before he freshens them.
It figures that my lazy day at home is one National Happy Day. I did a lot of smiling to strangers when I was out yesterday, so I had a pre-smile party. I agree with you about packages in the mail! I saw a meme on Facebook that said buying thing to be mailed was like getting a present from yourself.
I hope Spring really is settling in, I am so done with snow and cold!
Enjoy your show and Happy Spring!
Hugs, Nani
Oh, it can be pretty exciting to open mailboxes, yes, even if you set them yourself to yourself, because often you forget about a few things you packed and it's a surprise to find them in the box! LOL.
Yes, spring is here, but our weather isn't completely playing along, yet.
Sending you a big smile for Happy Day, but also for the days to come. I packed them all one by ome and them all those packages are packed together in one big emailbox, so you can take out one on a day you really need a smile!!
Hugs
Kyra
