Company's Coming

Hope everyone had a happy May Day. For those of you who celebrate Beltaine, I have a QP for you today. Snow Raven has put out a beautiful new kit called "Beltaine Eve" and the colors in it are just beautiful. The young lady in today's layout is me as a teenager. Even us old gals used to be quite pretty to look at. Now, gray hair and wrinkles look pretty good to us.

The reason I'm posting my usual Saturday freebie today is because I'm expecting some lovely company this weekend, and I might be too busy to get in here and post. My daughter, Audrey, and her friend Ellen are driving up to visit with me. Right now, they are already on the road, so I'm getting excited.

Poor little Tootsie hasn't been feeling very well these past few days. She had a rabies shot, and has not been herself since. Everyday with the diahrrea leaves her quite sluggish. This needs to stop pretty quick, or she will have to go back to see her doctor. I'm making her bland meals (chicken and rice) to see if it will help.

Yesterday I went to Walmart to buy some more cans of chicken for her, but when I got home the chicken was not in my bags. I called the store, and went back to get my items, but the manager gave my such a bad time, that I left again without my chicken.

Today, I called his boss and explained the situaton. He agreed that the problem had all been handled badly and apologized. Tomorrow, I will again try to pick up Tootsie's chicken.
