Good morning. It's quite chilly this morning, only in the 40'sF. We're expecting to make it into the low 50'sF by mid-day. However, tonight the colder air returns and possibly some rain showers too. With a little luck, the rain will hold off till after 6 a.m. tomorrow.
Weather permitting, Pogo and I have decided to get together with our "Witchy" friends for tonight's celebration ride. As you know, tonight is New Year's Eve for witches, so HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you! May you all enjoy a happy, healthy and prosperous year. Merry Be.
Some of us gals are getting along in years, and the cold wet weather doesn't sit too well with us. So, a few of us got together and went on a shorter celebration ride late last night, just in case the weather gets nasty tonight. It was a bit cloudy in places, but all in all it was a really pleasant ride.
Here's Pogo keeping watch on the weather late yesterday afternoon. He's been looking forward to our ride all year. If the weather tonight holds out, we'll get in an even longer ride tonight. Woo Hoo!
Last night, one of our friends brought her little camera along and took a photo of us. Everyone really liked how I had hooked Pogo's car seat onto the back of my broom to keep him warm. Pogo said that it was nice and toasty, and sort of like poking his head out the car window. I used the photo to make our Halloween card.
My goodness, Pogo just saw his picture here on the card, and is getting all excited. Who'd have thought that a tiny six pound cutie would have such fun riding around the world on a broom?
Now I'm going to make another cup of coffee, and do a bit of blog reading. So, till Sunday, Y'all have a fantabulous Halloween and a super weekend.
Hugs, Edna B.

Good Morning, Edna ... Happy Halloween to you too:) Believe it or not, I got up to snow on the ground ... something of a shock for the last day of October. I hope you get your broom ride in tonight before the snow reaches you.
Pogo is so darn cute whether he is sitting in your door or on the back of your broom. I agree, his little snores would be music to my ears too.
I love your little Titmice ... who would have thought those tiny little birds could manage a whole peanut like that. I am jealous that you have Titmice ... I have never had one in my yard or at my feeder. I am sure they must be around, but they never come to see me.
Well, I went to the hand specialist yesterday as recommended by the ER doctor and it turns out that I fractured my finger tip. He put a little splint on it more to protect it than hold it in place. I go through the ceiling every time I bump something with it. He said 6 to 8 weeks for it to heal. It is amazing how not being able to use your middle finger inhibits what you can do (or express,Ha!). But, I am getting used to being left handed for the time being.
Well, I must be on my way ... I have Halloween posts to post and then we need to do some more work in the yard before everything is covered with snow. You have a wonderful safe Halloween, Edna and Pogo ... and buzz my house when you pass by. Izzi would love to Bark to Pogo :)

Oh Edna, I'm so glad you got to ride last night if it's anything there like it is here! You'd be lucky not to slip on takeoff! :( I'm sad that I can't pass out candy this year, but even sadder because there are so very few squeals of happy kids in the neighborhood. It's cold and rain mixed with snow. :(
Glad you're back (and I am too!) In all the computer stuff, and really all technical device stuff, I've learned and done, it's usually something simple. There were a few ties in my early TV days when I’d call my engineer from the production truck in a panic because I had “everything hooked up and have no picture!” His first question would be “is the power turned on?” And I’d say “of course it’s….oh.” Don’t be bugged if someone who works with computer guts can fix it right away. A doctor can take out an appendix faster than either of us too! ;)
Happy Halloween!
Hugs and candy, Nani
Happy Halloween! That is so great adding him to the broom! I love it! of course we hit 86 here in las vegas, but it sure beats the 100s! Had a ton of kids - I'm plum worn out and almost out of candy!
Whooo, we did wave back on you, did you see us?
Jan wanted to play a little trick with our ministery of Defence, so as we saw you and your bunch of friends passing over he called the alarm number for UFO spotting, and immediately after they did sent out two fighter planes to have a look.
Had you any trouble with them???
I don´think so, because they kept it quiet at the news , nothing was said about it LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a terrific weekend
Hug
Kyra
